I really wasn’t going to write a review on this place but it left me feeling very awkward. This was my first time here and I wanted to try something new. I ordered the steamed rice rolls with ground pork. It looks unique and tasty. But after two bites into it.. I found a hair tucked in between the rolls. I called one of the girls who worked there, she apologizes and offers them to remake the dish. I declined as I also ordered a small pho and was happy with that. When I finished to go pay, the worker (blonde hair) she apologized for the situation and said she gave me a 20% discount. I really appreciate and after paying I looked at the receipt.. they still CHARGED me for the rice rolls that I found the hair. I turned around and said, wait you’re still charging me for something that I didn’t even get to enjoy and that you took back because there was a HAIR IN IT? She then looked at her colleague and said something in Vietnamese and looked at me like uhh.. “How about I give you $5?” (The rice roll dish was $11) I was shocked that she’s now negotiating with me. It would have been happy to pay for it, if they remade the dish and I actually got to enjoy it but that’s not the case. After she said that, I just stood quiet.. and she just opened the register and refunded me the $11. I’m not mad that I found a hair in my food, it happens. But this really made me feel uncomfortable at the end to have to question why I was charged for something they messed up on and to be negotiated for it back. I really liked the food and the restaurant is nice but they need to fine tune on their customer...
Read moreI've been a customer since the grand opening and finally experienced the worst. Friday night 12/5/24, I ordered the Spring Rolls / Goi Cuon Tom Thit; Beef Noodle Soup / Pho Bo (Rare Steak, Tai, / Tai, Meatballs / Bo Vien, Brisket. I noticed the spring rolls had an odd smell and taste. Then, I heated the pho soup as I always do. The rare steak did not cook as normal and tasted funny. I continued to mix the noodles because they were not dissolving in the hot water as normal and kept sticking together. I noticed the unimaginable: a black hair tangled in the rare steak. OMG, I threw it up and contacted the business. They apologized and asked me to bring a picture of the hair. It was 8:40 pm, and business closed at 9 p.m. I walked into their establishment at approximately 8:50 to show a picture of the hair & bring the food back with the hair. At first, they said it would be 3 minutes for another pho. I said thank you. I no longer have an appetite; please process a refund. The young girl gave me $11.25 in cash and apologized. I politely said you forgot the tax. She gave me the difference, and I didn't bother to ask for a refund for the spring rolls. I guess the food was cooked in 2 different kitchens, and they didn't feel it necessary to process a full refund. Whether the hair was in 1 food item and not caught in the other, should it not be a courtesy to refund the entire order? Sadly, I will not be returning to the restaurant, and I hope they double their efforts to make sure no one has to experience the distasteful and lack of...
