7Spice — Restaurant in Texas

I placed a To Go order in the restaurant @9:27pm. The cashier comes and tells us @9:42pm they're cleaning the grill (an hour and a before closing) and the food will be another 20 minutes. I'm tired of these restaurants having such CRAPPY service. They're currently in the back laughing and talking like a paying customer isn't waiting almost an hour to get food that should've taken 20 minutes to cook fresh. The restaurant was EMPTY when we got here and we should've just went elsewhere. For the record, if we were told it was an extended wait when we ordered we probably would've been ok. Food was freshly steamed made! Wasn't had to get all the meat out of the lobster legs 👍🏿 nontools needed to crack the shell's. There expensive but worth the money😋 Portions come just right for what you order, some enough to take leftovers home depends on what you get 👍🏿. I'll return to the one on Tomball parkway! for sure. It was the 3 of us we intentionally order different things. Fried fish and shrimps 👍🏿, baked fish was the largest serving we got it was well cooked seasoned well. Fried cat fish and shrimps well seasoned👍🏿. My lobster legs or srimps, potatos wasn't too spice I got mild👍🏿. The cashier seemed not to friendly, had to push her to brake down the understanding of the menu! being a Newcomer this is important! when deciding Taste Bud curiosity at a new place...

Employees were friendly, but check your order before you leave. Wont be back to this specific location. Catfish is on point, corn on the cob too....but wait....my order of red potatoes? Yall forgot to ring that up. Switched my food to-go bc of a screaming feral child whos also running around and playing phone games on 100% volume while his momma and grandma just sit there like zombies...too much in this tiny, hot af place, even tho the temp outside is only 90 degrees. So, yeah I dipped. I sure did miss out on the mouth watering potatoes, discovering theyre missing too late to drive 25 mins back. Yeah, I made a special trip just to get out of the house after 3 days of depression. Sure woulda loved that...
