Smoothie King — Restaurant in Texas

I was excited for this location to open up considering it is 3 minutes from my house. I have had the same experience as others have posted. Waiting at drive thru. Ordering through App and still having to wait 15 minutes for my order. But the reason for my post today is back in December I ordered 2 smoothies and a bowl. When we arrived my daughter was told that they were out of bowls and that I would be refunded. I waited a few days and nothing. I called up there to ask how would it be refunded, so I will wait a little more. I decided to call corporate to get a concrete date and answer knowing sometimes the store might not be able to give answer. When I finally got a number I got a voice-mail. Again ok I will wait it is close to holidays people are taking off. I called store again asked for manager and lady was like that was her. I explained situation she made sure to tell me she will take care of it. I told her that I was expecting this back in December. She said I am sending it in now and repeated my name back to me and everything. To date I still have not received my refund or a phone call back from corporate. I see they respond to these Google reviews maybe I can get a response about my refund now. Very disappointed in this location, haven't been back to a smoothie king yet. I had such a great experience at Smoothie King! From the moment I drove up, the energy was upbeat and welcoming — you can really feel the difference in the atmosphere. Ashley was absolutely amazing — so personable, professional, and genuinely kind. She took the time to explain options and made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. It’s rare to find that level of care these days!

I’ve been here 3x, first time there I pulled up to the drive thru and waited a few min till I had to call to make sure someone was working. I got to the window and was told I had to wait a few for my order because she was the only one there, so I was nice enough to order something different. Second time I was there I got what I wanted in the first time, but took almost 30 minutes and there was only one person working again. Now this third time I thought placing a pick up order would be faster which it was ready when I got there but my order was less than what is usually given in the PB swirl. Maybe going at another time of the day will be better, but if you’re going in the early morning, please make some time to wait and be specific...
