I have to agree with the vast minority in this case. Let's begin with service, we received seating in a timely manner but after that it was all DOWNHILL 🤦 The and place a drink order was well beyond 25 minutes. Yes it was a Saturday at the peak of lunch hour, however the indoor seating was not even at 75% capacity. 3 people on wait staff gave each maybe 3 tables each. Our chips and salsa were only refilled when we stopped the hostess and asked for more. Previous experiences from other Mexican restaurants the appetizer would have been out before we even finished the chips and salsa. In this case we still had not even been given the opportunity to order the appetizer before asking for a refill. The waitresses were having full blown conversations at the register with not a care or sense of urgency in the world. (I do hope they got to finish that important conversation) therefore ZERO STARS on service. Atmosphere well I gave that a 3 ⭐ the restaurant seemed to be newly renovated and kept clean at least in the dining area. Food 1 ⭐ ordered the volcano dip...the dips flavor is wonderful (sauteed shrimp steak and chicken with onions placed inside cheese sauce with Buffalo season is the taste you'll get) but I have to agree with one of the previous comments the cheese was definitely very soup like consistency. Perhaps it would be better if it was offered as a soup option with t tortillas on the side. Otherwise I'd suggest they thicken the sauce so that it somewhat sticks to the tortilla after dipping. (Or wear a bib)🤷🏼♀️ And the marquitas are obviously all Virgin, just they store some on the top shelf and some in a well. But they certainly do not contain any alcohol BYOB. I wish I could rate a better review of the food, I opted to go here because I ran across someone eating a lunch plate (to-go) and inquire to what it was. It looked and smelled delicious from what I understand it's an Eldorado trio. I would have loved to try it but unfortunately the whole dine in experience did me in and opted to leave after the appetizer. May try the to-go option one day when it's convenient and I have lots of...
Read moreCame here on a friend's recommendation and wasn't as impressed as I expected to be. Both my wife and I are always on the hunt for the best Mexican cuisine we can find. In the Jesup area Tequila is still the gold standard even over Leradios. I always order a Taco salad at every new Mexican restaurant I visit. If they make a great salad, I always come back to try other dishes. Everyone has there favorite or standard by which they judge a place and this is mine. The Taco salad here was just ok. Nothing stood out as better than many other places in my experience. The shell wasn't just cooked or hot. The meat lacked any real seasoning and that was my wife's issue with her Burrito Taco combo plate. I thought the ingredients were fresh and appropriately colored. There isn't much in the way of atmosphere here. Very generic and seemingly set up for larger groups rather than showcasing the style of cuisine being offered. Certainly no Japanese feel in anyway. We did enjoy our waiter Pepe. Very friendly. I'm pretty sure we won't be back for the Mexican given better choices in town but will be back to try the Japanese. I'll do a review for...
Read moreReally love yall's food! Hence the reason my wife order takeout at 7:00pm sharp. She ordered Valcono Dip, the person/employee that took the order said it would be ready in 15 minutes. My wife knowing that things sometimes run behind did not go inside till 7:20pm. The person/employee at the hostess station said it would be ready in 5 more minutes. No problem understandable. It actually was as another 20 minutes at 7:40pm before it was ready and the following occurred. My wife asked for a refund. The employee then said if you can wait one minute it's ready. Totally not cool guys. Y'all can do better and must to be successful or you will not continue to stay I business. Sorry the...
