I wish I could give a zero or negative star. One of the worst experiences we had with this place. We ordered for 2 soups, 2 appetizers and 3 entrees for dinner with guests at home. Other than the appetizers, the food was extremely bad quality...no taste at all whatsoever...we ended up trashing the entire food. No taste at all. We ended up making some last minute arrangement to feed our guests. Extremely disappointing. We decided to take it up with the restaurant. In a few days, we happened to be at the location and shared this feedback with the restaurant owner. The justification given was that it was a busy time and this can happen...Really? Anyways, my wife was asked to tell them what they need to do. After some discussion, we were assured that a repeat order will be honored in a max of a month's time. Fast forward to 2 weeks down, we called for the repeat order...and we were shocked to say the least. The owner got on the call, refused to honor his promise and went to the extent with audacity asking us why we did not seek a refund...hold on, do you even understand...you guys never offered a refund. According to him, they cannot run a business if they honor such requests 2-3 weeks later. The question is really not about the monetary value...we can definitely pay again for the new order. It is really about customer service and how dissatisfied a customer is and how you are willing to make a change. We made two calls and all he said was "we cannot honor any replacement or refund now, you should have come back within a week". I just cannot believe this. The restaurant serves the most terrible food possible and then does not care to satisfy the customer. We will never ever eat at this place. This review is to warn others on how this restaurant functions. This is a genuine case and I am happy to provide any...
Read moreThis location is definitely nice on the inside and the short amount of time it takes for the food to come (in my experience) is also quite likable. But the customer service for one wasn’t good at all. We go there and waited five minutes for someone to come to the front desk to take our order but no one did. Then we peeped around other areas of the place to see if we could find someone to help us but no one was in sight. We waited another 2 minutes hoping someone would come but that didn’t happen. Finally my husband knocked on one of the back doors and someone came out and told him to wait. He then came out a minute or two later to take our order. He was extremely quiet, didn’t say much at all, wasn’t clear with his answer after I asked about one of the items on the menu. Then we sat and had our food which came out very quickly which was nice. But the beef stir fry my husband ordered was extremely chewy as if it was all fat when indeed it wasn’t. The sauce & veggies weren’t terrible but definitely not worth getting again. I had the triple Szechuan dish which was extremely spicy (I normally order spicy but this was over the top) so I wish we were asked whether we wanted mild, medium, or spicy. Nonetheless the dish did seem to have a good flavor but that may also be because it was so spicy I had to immediately have water after some bites which takes away from actually taking in the flavor. This was the second time we went to Chinese Dhaba, first was at the Duluth location. We were hoping the food would be a bit better than that location but turned out to be worse because...
Read moreWe have been visiting this place for a while now. The place was pretty good in the beginning but the quality of food has degraded since then. Being a vegetarian, I usually order vegetable coins with Manchurian sauce/ Chili Paneer with Manchurian sauce and vegetable fried rice.
The paneer dish is good but they could have done better. The vegetable coins didn't have any salt and no flavor. When asked about the salt I was told to either use salt packet or soy sauce which I was amazed to hear. Note - They replaced the vegetable coins with Paneer Manchurian. Thanks for that.
In the appetizers, we like to get vegetable spring rolls. But today, I ordered Chinese Bhel. The description mentioned crispy and tangy flavor but it didn't contain any lemon flavor. Again I asked for the lemon and I was told that they don't keep any lemons in the kitchen. Again a big surprise.
The faluda is decent and I enjoyed it last time. Hopefully they read this review and make some changes. Otherwise people will keep on writing bad reviews for a place which could have been a lot better if they have maintained the same standards when they first opened at...
