Panda Express — Restaurant in Johns Creek

Since “0” stars is not an option , I chose what was available. Just extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service I have continued to receive. Today was the final straw. Me and my money can and will go elsewhere.

I’ll try to make a long story short. I requested several months back to have the person processing my order wear gloves for food and health safety. I’m surprised it’s not a requirement especially after Covid. Nonetheless, the manager “swore” to God that today was her first time she saw me. I go once a week. Although, I don’t necessarily expect that she may remember me. But what strikes me as odd as last week when I got there, she handed the other worker a pair of gloves to fix my order. When I arrived today, she called the same worker and when she saw me, she turned around and went back to where she was. A refusal? Insubordination? Who knows but the manger ended up fixing my order which they barely fill to the top. In any case, I ask the lady at the register to call her over because I wanted to know what the issue was. Seriously, if you and your workers have problems wearing gloves, why are they available in the first place? This should not be an inconvenience but really an attempt to show great customer service. Instead, it makes the person who is paying for their food think they have done something wrong. This shows me they don’t care about their customers or the service they provide. Review for Panda Express - 3585 Peachtree Parkway, Suwanee, GA 30024 (December 26, 2024)

I recently ordered a family meal from Panda Express at the Suwanee location, and I have to say, my experience left much to be desired. We were excited to enjoy a feast that included a large fried rice, a large lo mein, a large walnut honey shrimp, a large Kung Pao chicken, a large spicy dumplings, and an additional large order of chicken with mushrooms.

While I can’t deny that everything was flavorful and well-prepared, I was extremely disappointed with the portion sizes. The walnut honey shrimp and spicy dumplings were nearly empty, with the containers not even filled to 50%. For a family meal, I expected more food—especially considering the price. It was disheartening to see so many of the containers lacking in quantity, as it simply wasn’t enough to feed our family adequately.

I’ve attached pictures to illustrate the issue, as it’s hard to convey just how underwhelming the portion sizes were. It’s unfortunate because we genuinely enjoyed the taste of the food, but the lack of sufficient servings overshadowed the positive aspects of our meal.

Overall, I hope that this location can improve their portioning practices. For a family meal, it’s crucial to ensure that the containers are filled properly so that customers feel they are getting their money’s worth. I actually don’t know what’s up with the bad reviews but I think people in general are more likely to discuss their negative experiences than positive ones when it comes to fast food chains.

This Panda Express is amazing. Doesn’t matter what time I go in, whether it’s peak hours or not, the service is great and the food quality is great. The food always tastes fresh, flavorful, and top quality. It reminds me of my childhood when my mom used to get us Panda Express from the mall food court. If you know, you know lol. I have not found a Panda Express that offers this same quality other than the one on Georgia Tech’s campus lol.

I know it sounds silly, and I don’t go to Panda Express that often, but not all Panda Expresses are created equal. I have two other locations that are closer to me but this one is worth the few min extra drive. The food quality is just that good and I always see them replenishing the items with fresh cooked food.

My most recent visit I got food at 3PM, ran errands, and my husband and I ate our food 45-50 min later. STILL tasted fresh and flavorful and was 10x better quality than the mediocre food I’d get at the closer locations.

Service is always great. Employees are kind and attentive even during lunch rushes or peak hours.
