Deserve negative starts. Pathetic management. Tried to order take out and they refused. They want me to eat there in covid conditions so that I can spend 100$ on alcohol there. Typical desi attitude. Besides the food is average and I was trying to help your business. Have fun running ....more like ruining the business. Not going back.

Everyone is understaffed and we have to do our best . When you were refused to take you order then how can you comment on food taste?? May god bless your bitter soul. Thank you ** MY 2nd response *It is sad and depressing that you are defending your business tactics. I have had food there few times and to be honest it was below average. I even came in person to order food and I was turned away. There were literally 2 cars outside on Friday evening. How busy were you with 2 customers inside? Infact you were fine giving me a table there but I can't order food to go? Understaffed you say? What is the difference if I eat there Vs picking up the food? I don't like to hurt businesses but considering from your uneducated response and your shady tactics, you deserve to be shut down. You were exposed and now you can refrain from defending yourself to cause further embarrassment to your conniving soul.

Please learn some basic customer service...and I mean basic and not be a roadside dhaba. This is America and not your vilkage backyard ..Try this approach with some locals here.. You dont have many Indian restaurants with a great bar or find a great bar that serves Indian Food . Adda fills that sweet spot . This was one of the reasons I gave it a 5 star as they have just opened and are trying to find their groove. I ordered the MouthBuster - pretty well made and presented . I felt this dish could had 3 pieces instead of 2 and for those who like it less spicy this should have an option of serving sriracha on the side . The Tellechery Chicken was a welcome dish A reshmi/malai Kabab with crushed pepper on top - though the dish was supposed to be marinated in black pepper it was not. The chicken briyani needs a lot of work. I would give it a 7/10 . The rice was not as aromatic and its taste was a little disconnected from the spice and taste in the chicken . It was still edible to the last morsel. The Shorbha/Serva/Korma served with the biriyani was bland and needs a lot of work. Over all good start , can moderate a little on the quantity . Worth visiting again.

August 2 2022 Its been 5 years since I ate here! just had a disastrous meal from the next door Anjappar a day before . I was just not satisfied with my need to have some good Indian food. I was surprised and glad on many things . First the Naan was absolutely soft and well baked The chicken chettinad was delicious (you would be better off eating here than at Anjappar next door) The Chicken 999 was tasty - but just a gimmick - a cross between a chicken 65 and an attempt to give it a chinese finish with vinegar - Edible - nothing out of the world to call it 999

This used to be a really good ambiance and tasty food restaurant. The ambiance is still good but the food has gotten worse. Since it used to be good I recommended this and 6 of us went for dinner. It was told to us (after 40 mins of ordering food) that they are under staffed in kitchen so it would take time. 6 of our dishes came 20 mins following each other. So we couldnt share anyrhing but apart from the total 2.5 hours waiting dor food it was not worth the wait. Chicken Biryani had overfried black onions which made the entire biryani tsste bad. Paneer 555 which used to be the best thing in paneer was just 1tbsp tikka masala sauce with tossed paneer. No flavour very bland. Chicken 999 was ok. Chicken chettinadu had heavy CREAM in it. Thats an insult😂. Malai Kofta was very bland and lacked flavour. Just dough balls in yellow undercooked onion gravy. We also said that food was not good and like before to which even the waiter agreed. He was like they had only 1 chef. Then why to take orders and make people seated when you know it is going to mess up. Moreover we were forced to pay 18% service charge which usually I love to tip but felt bad giving it this time. The service was very bad. Robot did a good job but the lady who served food was very stressed and just slammed the food bowls on table and used to run inside. I understand the stress when its busy but food given with bad attitude tastes bad just as is. Mixed drinks and taj beer were the only saviours so 2 stars for ambiance and drinks.
