MIMI’s Ice Cream & Desserts — Restaurant in Johnson City

I would love to give Mimi's 5 stars...

The ice cream was excellent. We both got milkshakes. They were delicious and the portion was just right!

We learned HOWEVER that if you leave a tip, the amazing person serving you that fantastic ice cream DOES NOT get the tips! Mimi's is owned by the restaurant and they schedule the people who work in the ice cream truck, but they do not get to participate in the tip pool! This employee said they still love the company and their job regardless... So please @Burg'r & Barrel make this right. These employees should get tips too, especially since they are not allowed to have a tip jar!

Went to the new Mimi’ icecream food truck today! It was located at the Burger and Barrel restaurant. We had the Bananas Foster Ice Cream Sunday. It was wonderful. It was vanilla icecream covered with bananas foster, fresh caramelized bananas, with butter and sugar , plus a homemade waffle thing on top with whipped cream. We also had the Baklava Sunday. It was just as good. Nuts, with a Mediterranean honey and citrus sauce with crispy phyllo pastry. It was so good, I didn’t get a picture...

This was probably one of the worst dessert places I have ever eaten at. Ordered a chocolate chip cookie with chocolate ice cream and chocolate chips. The cookie was thin and had hardly any chocolate chips in it. Tasted more like a sugar cookie than anything. Ice cream was icy and bland. Chocolate chips weren’t bad but nothing remarkable about them. I did receive a lot of food for the price but honestly just save your money....
