Please dont go here. The white guy came up and would not let us in. He said my friend was drunk. I was way more drunk them him. He saw 2 black guys at 12 am going in the bar and wouldnt let us in. I wil never go to this bar again. A Thursday, we walked about a half mile to the bar and not let us in. Never again will i go to this bar. Only reason i can think is that we were black. There is no other reason that this would have happened. We went to 2 bars after we left and no one had a issue with either of us. We even had drinks with the bar tender at on and the owner at the other so no one was visible intoxicated. You didnt want 2 black guys at your bar at 12 at night and there were no other black people in there. Dont blame your ignorance on policy or law. Also its hard to say that when a white guys come out that is obviously drunk and sluring his words, walks out talks to your worker, the goes back in with no problem. I have heard of other instances of racist behavior at this bar but this was my first time experiencing it. ...
Read moreThe people that work the door are VERY rude. I have been here 2 times and both times it has been a bad experience. If you are a person of color beware that you will not be treated with any respect, if you even get in. I have seen then turn people away, making up something but everyone knows it because the door man does not like black people. Wonderland is a great place that is alot better then this place. There bathrooms are never clean and always smell horrible the bar is always dirty. Just not a good place. And as you can see by the responses to the reviews the owner does not care and would rather go against the customer instead of making corrections to his staff and bar. There is a petition that has been started for the city to look into the alligation of racial discrimination at the bar, and it has around 300 signatures already. Me and all my friends have started going to Wonderland. They have great staff and the owner actually cares about...
Read moreI've been a loyal patron for years, consistently appreciating the efficient and swift bartending service. Despite understanding that crafting a drink is a quick task, I've consistently offered generous tips to show my appreciation for the staff's efforts. However, on the occasion when my girlfriend left a $0.50 tip, we were abruptly cut off and asked to leave. This incident, following years of positive interactions, left me puzzled and disappointed. The ease of the bartending task shouldn't overshadow the value of a long-standing customer who has consistently supported the establishment with generous tips. Not gonna come back, so opportunity gain now lost for the year dropped $2,000-$3,000, and that’s only counting me not my friends I bring too. Imagine the other people who are dealt the same thing and the opportunity lost do to primordial...
