I pulled up in the drive thru 15 minutes before they close. There was a line of maybe 4-5 vehicles. I was next in line to order. When they finally served the person at the window and we all pulled forward one space, it was 10:06 and they initially refused to serve me. I told them I had been waiting in line for quite some time. They said to go ahead with my order. I started to order a boneless wings meal and they told me that were not going to drop anymore food in the fryer since it was after close. So even though I’ve been patiently waiting, they still refuse to serve me. This has happened multiple times ranging from 8:45- 9:45, they have refused to cook food to serve me because it was near time to close. I’ve worked in several fast food places, including Zaxby’s. The policy is to cook any food for a customer if they’re in line before 10pm. Regardless of what it is. Regardless of what time you get around to actually give the person in line their meal. Also, it is also customary to have the person pull forward in order to serve other people in line if the first persons food is not ready. I will not be coming back. I’ve had this happen numerous times and it’s completely unnecessary. I may have a talk with corporate. I know their policies and they are not...
Read moreSo good, so fresh, so addictive, such variety. I'll start with the variety. Wings, boneless or traditional. I am wimp. I love the sweet and spicy. The boneless wings and a fork are the perfect alternative to my traditional wing craving when you work on the road and are eating in your car. The zalads are a healthier choice with no sacrifice on taste. The blue is my favorite with the cobb being my second. The combos are an all in meal that have perfectly cooked and seasoned fries and a drink. The fountain drinks are often overlooked in restaurants. It requires someone who cares about the end product to turn out food of this quality. Achieving the regular mission during these very trying times without missing a beat really speaks to the ownership and management as well as all the employees commitment and dedication. Its a very refreshing experience. I've recently moved here from knoxville. Unfortunately I am still a bit cautious about fast food or any restaurant for that matter. I was in the restaurant business as an owner operator for 20+ years. Knoxville area has been on a decline for a while in my opinion. I stopped going to zaxby's years back due to continually being disappointed. This place has restored my love for zaxby's in under 6...
Read moreMy husband & I go in to this Zaxbys probably 3-5 times a week. Normally the young female Mgr is there & things run very smoothly, food is hot & fresh but tonight she wasn't there & that's when we found out that us being customers really didn't matter. We always spends any where from $20-$30 per trip. We always order 20pc boneless wings 10 sweet & spicy then my 10 wimpy. We got our boneless wings tonight & omg I was so disappointed in my food when I opened my to go box, so my husband took my order back into the store to try to explain to the Mgr on duty (Brayden) what was wrong so my husband started to tell him what we ordered & he(mgr) cut my husband off saying ya I know what you ordered, when my husband showed him my boneless wings he replied with a smart remark of ya they come frozen thats how we get them so that's what you get. Please keep in mind we couldn't even cut the boneless wings cause how hard they were. Brayden doesn't have to worry about us coming back into that restaurant while he is working we can spend our money with a different company that offers what we enjoy eating. Brayden please remember word of mouth wins or loses the customers favor. I hope tomorrow you have...
