Iâve had multiple bad experiences at this Subway and this last one has confirmed that I wonât be back to this location. Upon entering, the girl working greeted us and let us know she was restocking and it would be a minute. We were fine with the wait and told her no problem. She then tried to get us to put in our order on the app. Knowing it wold take more time to download and set up the app and the savings wasnât enough to motivate us to we declined and said we would wait. She continued to attempt to talk us into it and we gave in. Like I thought, the app was more work than it was worth and it took us more time than necessary to get our orders in. The girl did check on us, saying she knew the app could be a pain especially when it comes to payment. While putting in our order at least 3 other customers received their food and one of which upset the girl working. She then proceeded to complain about him to the next customer while he was still in the store saying she âwished she had money like him so she could decline discountsâ as well as how tired and backed up she was from the dinner rush they received and complaining about how long her shift was. The entire time making sandwiches and talking directly over the sandwiches she didnât wear a mask. Thankfully she wasnât working on our order or I would have asked her to put one on. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and understand it can be demanding but the unprofessionalism that I witnessed appalled me. When I got home I found my sub wasnât even made correctly, after all that time and effort put into ordering it on the app. We would have received my subs in a timely manner and made correctly if we hadnât been harassed into ordering on the app. I would have spent that extra $5 to avoid all this. I love subway and have been a loyal customer for a long time but I will go out of my way to go to a different location...
   Read moreI live close by and come here often for convenience. Years ago this was the best Subway in RI. Always pleasant workers who didn't skip on food portions and were sanitary. In the last two years I've had horrible after horrible service almost every time. Each time I say I'll never come back but today sealed the deal. Not only do they not take Subway coupons here, but they promote "Meal Deals" that they randomly decide when they want to honor. Based on the other reviews I've read of this location, they give customers different times on when you can get the Meal Deal based on their mood that day. Nowhere is it posted that you can only get the Meal Deal at a certain time of day it just specifies that different sandwiches are part of the deal on each day of the week. I've never had this experience at any other Subway. Not only that but every time I come in all the workers are sitting at a table hanging out like their at home. You can tell the second you walk in they feel so bothered that they got a customer and eventually get up to serve you but just continue their conversation with each other talk OVER MY FOOD THEY ARE PREPARING. COMPELETELY DISGUSTING. The workers don't even say Hi or anything just stand there continuing their conversation until you speak up and tell them what you want. Maybe I havent started telling you my order because I'm waiting for you to finish chit chatting with the other workers. They also skim on food. I got a 6 inch with only two small slices of tomato and cucumber. Never have I gotten less than 3 slices of a vegetable when getting a 6 inch except at this location. Not only do they not offer their own promoted deals but wanna be stingy on toppings? Ridiculous. While this is at a convenient location for me I'll never come back and rather drive a little farther to the location on Hartford Ave and I suggest others...

I went into the Atwood Ave, Johnston store at about 6:30pm Wednesday night, October 16 and there was a male and a female working. I proceeded to order a sandwich that has pepperoni and meatballs in it. (The female was very short Light skin brown) She stated there was no pepperoni in stock So I told her just give me the regular meatball sandwich, she didnât Respond. She then started making some type of sandwich with cold cuts in it. I asked her what she was making, and she said that there was no meatballs left. I then told her I did not want Whatever she was making, and then told me with an attitude âI told you there was no meatballsâ When in fact, she originally told me there was no pepperoni in stock. She told me she didnât care about my sandwich and said âdo you want it or notâ. I told her I did not want it , said then said âyou is wrongâ She then told me âfrom the beginning there was no meatballs and you said you wanted a BMT â. I have in fact NEVER ordered a BMT in my life. When she started to get loud, some fake homeboy that was obviously just hanging out in the store came over to me to try to intimidate me. I told her there was no need for her to be so rude and then she started to swear at me.
I would recommend to never go to the store unless you want to get told what youâre eating and then get disrespected by some 16-year-old Making minimum wage that is mad her mommy is making her work, all while eating next to wannabe 16 year old gangsters just hanging out there.
I then left there and went to Jersey Mikeâs and got treated with respect.
