I wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!!! My entire experience was horrible! I called to place a to go order and the lady was very rude and kept rushing me. When I got there to pick up my order the employees were yelling at each other and if they would of smiled, I think their faces might of cracked! I got scolded because I was there 10 minutes early to pick up my order, I asked if I could pay and wait and received an attitude about that. While I was waiting a poor old man walked up to the counter and was looking at the menu...the man who I presume is the owner....looked and him and barked "SPEAK!" The 3 employees were rude to each and every customer that walked in. I could not wait to get out of there. I've never experienced customer service like that in my life! To make matters even worse...the food was TERRIBLE!!!! I got chicken tenders, fries and mac & cheese. I received 3 tiny tenders, a itsy bitsy cup of mac & cheese and a few undercooked fries. My co-workers got the fish sandwiches. They were small and I asked for tartar sauce which we did not receive. Save yourself some time and dignity and DO NOT visit...
Read moreAs you walk past this small restaurant, you might just miss even seeing it, tucked away along the busy street. Even a direct glance may make you ponder if it's worth a venture inside. but if you decide to, you will certainly be glad you did (assuming you to be a seafood lover) The prices are quite fair for the quality of the food, and I do rate it as quality seafood!
From sandwiches, to platters and boats, to full meals... Most meals sell for less than $10.00 and are plentiful portions.
With the 'Fisherman's Delight' dinner being top fare, at around $15.00 (Fish, Shrimp, Clams, Scallops, Oysters, and Crab Cakes, just to name the seafood part) Including Steak Fries and Cole Slaw and a Roll with butter. I have yet to be able to consume the full dinner in one sitting, and I am no small man.
Although it has an old school look with a semi-retro décor, You will be glad you made the choice. The Restaurant holds a fresh fish market within, as well. Also with comparable to quite fair prices.
I Have certainly found a new favorite...
Read moreI was so excited to visit the Fish Boat since I havent been in some years. The quality of the food and the prices has really went down hill. I ordered a fish sandwich with mayonnaise. My cousin ordered scallops. As Yu can see no mayonnaise or anything. The bread was soggy and the fish was mushy as if it wasn't properly cooked. The scallops were very undercooked and chewy. 8 dollars just Abt for a fish sandwich and 9 dollars for 6 small scallops. I wish I could have taken a picture of those before she threw them out. Needless to say I won't ever visit the Fish Boat again and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. To top it off no one greeted us as we walked in. The cashier looked right in our face and turned her back to us. A man came out to take our order. He was very rude and making faces as if he was upset he had to wait on us. Very horrible experience all around the board. I would give it 0 stars...
