Five Guys — Restaurant in Joliet

Placed my last order online which was easy enough, they managed to make my husbands and my burger incorrectly...amd they made my kids hot dogs correct. I dropped dinner off at work for my husband and i retured home to eat with the kids which is where I realized my order was incorrect and I called my husband and his was wrong as well. Being that Covid is going on and restaurants were re-opening... i called them and they gave me three options Could come in to have it replaced ( this wasn't a good option) Refunded all my money (I didn't want that because they need all the money they can since recouping from covid closure) Take my information and they could replace my order for free (I took this option but said only the burgers needed replacing as the rest of the order was correct )

Fast forward to this evening...my husband ordered curbside and I relayed the information about the burgers being free from them incorrectly fulfilling the order last time. He comes home as said the employee had no idea what he was talking about and didn't even bother looking or asking manager so we just paid for everything and though our order was correct this time...i can't believe how I was lied too and given those three options and took the best option that would benefit all... then they didn't hold up their end of the bargain. I'm irritated and recommending that if anyone's order is messed up just get your refund because no one cares to replace at a later date.

Ordered takeout after work just a single cheeseburger with a banana milkshake. The food was made pretty quickly, and they made the shake right there infront of me. The burger for what it was worth was solid and I could taste how seasoned it was. The milkshake was alright, you could tell they just use squirts of flavoring for specific flavors. The ice cream itself wasn't anything noteworthy.

I ordered off Activemenus for a discount which ultimately ended up not doing much to help alleviate the prices for the food here,which I believe relative to the quality of the food is massively overpriced.

I wish this place had some sort of heater in which takeout orders could remain relatively warmer for longer.

All in all this place is merely okay and unless I wanted to specifically have a five guys burger, I am not going to be a regular here especially with the lack of real heat maintainence after the food is made and the quality of the food itself increases or the prices fall to match the...

I ordered a little burger with small fry on 4/21 as carry out. I asked for no tomato or mushroom everything else was fine. I took a bite of the sandwich and there was no burger. I thought it was a joke and that the burger was under all the lettuce but nope nada, but they did include the tomato and mushroom I didn’t want. I tried calling the store no answer the line was busy all day, called again a few days later. Was able to speak with a worker (not even a manager ) to express my frustration at paying $13 for a meal with no burger. How do you forget the burger???? Was told a manager would contact me. Still nothing. Reached out to corporate and what do you know STILL NOTHING. Customer service is poor and the food I cannot even comment on because all I had was a bun and veggies. All I want is my money back at this point and better customer...
