This might be a long one but bare with me! Today was my first time trying fry the coop. Before trying anything new now I always go on Tic Tok to see what's trending! So I ordered the snack wrap meal with fries and a drink. My total was about $12 and some change plus a tip. Starting with the food I give my order a 7/10. The chicken tender used was pretty big, well seasoned, and good. The one thing is the tender sticks out the tortilla alot which I like this concept because majority of restaurants give you more tortilla than meat whereas fry the coop gives you more meat less tortilla. The fries are really good and its a large portion. On to the customer service...I completely agree with the other reviews that mentioned its nothing but a bunch of kids running the place. They need a grown up in here managing and here's why. When I entered there was a young man at the register (BLK) very friendly, he was patient and willing to answer any questions I had. There was a young lady frying the chicken/tenders (MIXED) and she was just as pleasant. Now there was a young girl (BLK, long ponytail red shirt) who was assembling the sandwiches and wraps. She was unfriendly. When I walked in she had her face frowned up for whatever reason and I smiled at her and she just kind of ignored my gesture. Now, I understand everybody has their days or whatever...but you are at work. Customer service includes being friendly, greeting the customers, and being polite. What makes me upset about this interaction is that its always "us" who behaves this way and then we wonder why we don't get opportunities or receive negative treatment. If she was having a bad day or an off day she should have either left or asked to work in the back. But don't be up at the front with your face twisted. This is exactly why this place needs a grown adult manager because stuff like this needs to be corrected. Her peers aren't going to correct her. The second reason it needs to be a grown adult manager in here is because the final boy who puts the orders in the bag...was bagging everyone's orders with the same gloves he started touching uncooked fries with. Not only that he also ripped the box open and ripped the plastic covering off the uncooked fries. Then touched open face cooked fries for a customer and put them in the bag. Again, if manager was in here this stuff would be corrected but its a bunch of kids running this place.
Fry the coop, I've seen you generically replying to all the comments...unfortunately, I dont want a generic reply...what I want you to do is take heed to what the people in the comments are saying and go in your establishment and make the necessary changes. Your prices are not cheap and people are spending their money and should receive a higher level of satisfaction especially since you just opened! As a customer we can't decide how much we pay, so you can't decide to allow poor customer service. It's a Return...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been going to Fry the Coop for years as they've been expanding south. Its a pretty good chicken place. I've tried all their sandwiches, all solid, especially the donut. I have close friends from Nashville I visit occasionally. Are these sandwiches traditional Nashville chicken sandwich style? - No. But the chicken seasoning rub is pretty traditional. Hold the slaw to keep the sandwich more traditional. The rub, for being mostly paprika and cayenne, it can get surprisingly hot. Ultimately, Fry the Coop a quick-serve, fast-casual restaurant, in line with like a 5 Guys. Don't expect the interior to be extravagant. The food won't be the cheapest chicken sandwiches around. And it won't be ready in 5 minutes. But, I think it's worth trying, and I've been returning to their various locations for a (medium)hot minute now. I'm glad to have one out here finally, and I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI heard of this place and it being really good boy I was wrong. First of all they are really expensive and to get 3 tender plate and it doesnāt come with a drink like what.the people working there didnāt really seem like they knew what they were doing and they were out of something we wanted but still charged us. The food was tasteless and tasted burnt to me and my boyfriend and the chicken nuggets tasted like something from Walmart and there drinks were so small for the price like a medium looks like a childās drink. I donāt complain a lot but this was bad if you want them to rob you from money with crappy food go here. I would never suggest or come to this...
