Great food and excellent service! The interior was beautifully decorated, with a small fountain, traditional Mexican pottery, and with gorgeous leather chairs that were reminiscent of something you'd find in a study in a Mexican ranch in the late 1890s. Super clean and spotless! Very authentic in decor and flavor! The service was just absolute amazing! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

We're from out of town, and it was our first time there. The waiter actually came by to let us know that the kitchen was a bit behind schedule, and updated us on when the food would be coming out. He did this without us even complaining or asking (we were all having a great time catching up with an old family friend for his birthday), we'd honestly lost track of time in conversation. We all appreciated the waiter's transparency with the food delay. But it doesn't stop there: our waiter, once he heard that it was our friend's birthday, he sent the table a round of shots, and overall, just went completely above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcome and that we had a great time! We live over an hour and a half away, but I'm planning on making the drive again, later this summer with my family!

If you’re looking for authentic, delicious, and affordable Mexican food, look no further than Puerto Escondido. From the moment you walk in, the service is incredibly friendly, and the staff makes you feel right at home. The food portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you’re getting. The seafood is unbelievably fresh, and the steak dinners absolutely on point. I’ve had them multiple times, and they never disappoint. The homemade tortillas are next level, and every salsa is a hit: the green sauce is mild and flavorful, the red sauce has just the right amount of kick, and the agua chile sauce is pure magic.

And don’t even get me started on the aguas frescas—hands down the best I’ve ever had. Refreshing, flavorful, and made fresh daily.

Puerto Escondido is a true hidden gem and easily serves up some of the best Mexican food around....

Last time i was in there i literally had a group of 6 there was 3 servers in there. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks. 40 minutes to get our food sitchuated because the lady that took our order was too busy flirting with the man at the bar. Mixed our tickets up. Forgot half the things that we side ordered. It was a disaster. Never will i recomend to have anyone go to this place. And the one server was really REALLY rude. She had other servers bring our food cause she was too busy. Oh and who brings sour cream after you finished your meal. Who brings water beverages that has dirty glasses with stuff floating in it.
