Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies — Restaurant in Joliet

I have been a regular at this Robeks location since it first opened, typically visiting a few times a week. However, after today’s experience, I’m reconsidering returning.

I ordered two smoothies, but when I received them, both were extremely watery and not up to the usual quality I’ve come to expect. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, the young lady who took my order kindly offered to have them remade. Unfortunately, it was evident that the other staff member preparing the drinks was frustrated. Instead of a proper remake, she simply dumped both smoothies into the blender and added more ingredients to an already poorly made base. This resulted in an even worse consistency and a mess that wasted product all over the cup.

While I understand that mistakes can happen, the attitude and lack of care shown by the staff were disappointing. As someone who usually doesn’t leave reviews, I felt compelled to share this experience. This was my first time and certainly not the last! The staff was warm and welcoming with my first visit very knowledgeable and accommodating if I wanted to omit or add any extras. I came in to redeem a reader reward classic smoothie and Pete took my order and there were no issues to complete the transaction. I even joined the app and already have a reward waiting just for joining. The aroma of delicious food when you enter and it's so clean and bright. Keep up the phenomenal work and I met nice regulars who shared some of their favorites for me to try next time. Best customer service!! I was having an issue with an order I placed on the Robeks app. I arrived to pick up my order, but the order wasn’t coming up on their end. The worker got a hold of the owner through the phone, so I spoke to the owner and she was very kind and attentive. While working on solving the problem they still handed me my order. She contacted me later on in the day and told me that my payment didn’t go through due to a glitch in the app. I wanted to pay for my order, but she said absolutely not. She was extremely kind!
