Went to get a quick dinner before going to a concert. Called ahead of time to make sure we got the food quickly but had hoped to dine in. Lady gave us weird flack about our area code being from out of town and realized what all the negative reviews were about when we got there. Half of the restaurant was blocked off for some odd reason, had bathrooms that we could see but weren’t open to public. The whole place just gave me “hiding something” vibes but I was hungry so we gave it a go. I got the Singapore rice noodles and am glad I’m not vegetarian since there’s meat and seafood despite it not being listed anywhere on the menu. The shrimp was fine and the noodles were spicy, but that’s all I can say for them being good. The “chicken” had the texture of a wet sponge and I’m not a fan of beef generally (wouldn’t order for myself, but again, didn’t know). Husband’s dish was fine and the potstickers were good, but generally just bad vibes. Won’t return, do not recommend.

The cook is authentic and the food smells and tastes very nice and surprisingly very good in Joliet area. It's not China town level good but it's good and close to my house and that's a good thing. The price is extremely cheap compared to the amount of food you get. They give huge portions. Go for small if you're not that hungry. Large is super large!!! Must try their fried rice combo with General tso's chicken. Fire !!! Some of the reviews complained about his food not being delivered by Doordash and they gave 1 star rating and then some of you said less seasoning ? I am not sure if I have had good luck or what but Chinese food tasted like Chinese food to me not Mexican food which is supposed to be generously seasoned. And I love Mexican food and Indian food a lot. This food is good and just right amount of flavors and tastes like I'm eating at Chinatown.

this place has gone way down hill, came in for lunch... was told no one cooking knew how to make the spicy Chicken Basil dish, and i would have to wait for the owner to return. This was Ten mins after I placed my order, about 15 mins later the owner returned, the dish arrived shortly after that... the dish was loaded with woody inedible basil stems ... and had little to no flavor... couldnt complain about it as the man at the counter was on his phone and would not even acknowledge me. waste of time and money... the new staff do not care and new cooks are severely undertrained.

Update: I haven't been to Tony's for about a year, until yesterday. Omg!! The food is horrible now. I ordered my usual broccoli beef w the broccoli well done. Well guess what? The broccoli was hard and crunchy. There was hardly any beef and the gravy had no flavor. In addition I ordered orange chicken. There was no juice at all. It was like one big cement block. I had to tear the chicken a part. And once i tore it apart, they were like little dry sponge balls. It was dry and no flavor also. The lady at the front desk no longer had that friendliness that I used to enjoy. She barely spoke and it was evident that it was only about money. Serving nasty food with a nasty attitude is a huge red flag for me. I will NOT BE RETURNING OR RECOMMENDING TO FAMILY AND...
