I had visited Jonesboro 3 times and always wanted to stop here. I finally found the time and it was everything that I hoped it would be. So yummy! I ordered The Jackhammer (Butter Pecan Concrete filled with Cookie Dough). It was made perfectly and so good that I couldn’t stop eating to save any for later lol! That is definitely my new favorite treat whenever I’m in the area. On top of that, I visited a couple of days before the recent eclipse and they gave us special Andy’s glasses for everyone in the car. It was unexpected but we needed them! Way to go Andy’s!!

Nice little dessert shop that serves frozen custard and a few other treats. They have seasonal flavors and they have a menu of standard flavors that they can mix into most treats that are ordered. The menu can get a bit pricey but you get a lot for what you pay. The small sizes are usually enough for most and if you add in toppings or a seasonal treat it should make a good dessert. Overall, not a bad place to satisfy your sweet tooth.

I wish every town had an Andy’s Frozen Custard. The James Brown Funky Jackhammer is my go-to, but the key lime is also awesome. This location is easy access, has a few benches out front for dining outdoors and is a popular nighttime hang out in the summer. It appeared it was mildly vandalized by some kids overnight using chalk, but thankfully that’s easy to clean up.

The girl outside taking orders was very rude. We tried to tell her what we wanted and she rolled her eyes at us. After this happened a second time, we left. I called and spoke to a manager who wouldn’t do anything unless I gave my name and phone number because a formal complaint has to be made. I’m not giving my information because who’s to say the manager isn’t friends with this employee and would give her my info. As a manager, he or she should have immediately reprimanded her. Moved her inside away from customers or something. Especially when he or she (couldn’t tell on the phone) said they’ve had this issue several times in the past with the same employee. But instead of doing their job, the manager argued with me and said the employee was doing her job. Left there and went to the other Andy’s and spoke with an employee there who knew exactly who the rude girl was and said she’s even rude to other employees. Will not go back to the Red...

Edit: Over the past few months my fiance and I have been going here a lot more and everyone we've come in contact with has been very friendly! Just wanted to update since this review was made several years ago.

Protip: everything on the menu is super expensive for what you're getting, but I recently found out a two scoop cone is only $2, so go figure. Anyway, besides Andy's being expensive, the staff is typically not very friendly, as they are hasty and, basicallt, you're not worth their time. I understand when it's extraordinarily busy if you forget some manners, but when it's not, there's no excuse. The frozen treats are good, but the staff could use some extra training on...

I love Andy's! So many wonderful choices, all are so good, so rich .. they definitely will kick your sweet tooth in the buns! It's worth the extra money for a treat that is so very satisfying! I love that they design treats around holidays, special occasions and to support local sports teams. It's a personal touch that lets you know that they are part of your community, not just a business. They have 2 locations in Jonesboro to make it more accessible. They also give back to the community, sponsor events and are true lovers if Jonesboro! P. S. I recommend the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer! Real name and...
