Shadrachs Coffee Roasting Company — Restaurant in Jonesboro

when I first moved to Jonesboro I was thrilled to see that they had a legit coffee place on each of the four major roads here. For a while, things were great and then I begin to notice the quality of taste drop. I think the problem is there is not consistent training or at least consistent following of any training of how to actually do a pour-over brew with the coffee. They have a lot of teenagers working here in the afternoons and I found that my coffee purchases always would come out tasting burnt. When you're doing a pour-over and you have to have the water at a certain temperature or it will burn the coffee. I did notify the owner via Facebook and he was generous enough to give me a gift card to try them again but I have since decided that I would just rather Brew my own coffee and know that I'm going to get consistently good tasting coffee. Now I will say that for their blended drinks they have a great selection and I've never had any trouble with them but for hot coffee - I'll just...

Coffee here is great & that’s all my rating is based on. Service here is horrible though. Summer staff was great & then school started & the new staff is the worst. They pretty much always make my drink wrong (literally an iced americano 🙄) & dude spilled my drink on me. Ruined my white shirt. Then gave me one napkin & didn’t even apologize 😂 The summer staff was so great so idk where they dug up this set of people & I try not to complain cause I wouldn’t want to be a “Karen”...

I'm from Georgia, so I'm a Dunkin type of coffee person, since that option isn't here I've been trying different coffees. I've visited Shadrachs a few times since our move 8/20, and couldn't get myself to care for anything I tried. The girl yesterday that helped me, listened to how I'd order my drink from Dunkin, and worked her coffee magic on me a drink that was pretty close to what I'd order from Dunkin. Then, she wrote it down, so I'd know what to order from now...
