Absolutely terrible experience at this store that lasted almost 6 months! I purchased a mattress on July 10, 2020. The wrong mattress was ORDERED and delivered to my house. After sleeping on it for the required 30 days I returned to the store and found out that I had been sleeping on the wrong mattress the entire time. The manager, Shaun did not take responsibility and blamed it on the men that delivered it. He assured me that he would get the new one ordered that day and set up a delivery date. That date came and went and no one showed up with a mattress. When I called the store to see why no one showed up to deliver it on the agreed upon date, Shaun blamed it on Covid. After hanging up the phone, I then got an email confirming my order, letting me know that the correct mattress was never even ordered the week prior! FOUR MONTHS later, after FOUR separate delivery appointment NO SHOW's by mattress firm, I finally made contact with the district manager who agreed with me, that at the VERY LEAST, someone from this store should have contacted me each and every time to inform me that the mattress would not be delivered that day. They knew the mattress would not be delivered on the date that they had set up, and never called to let me know FOUR separate times. Once the correct mattress finally showed up in November, I was so disgusted by the poor management and lack of communication from the store manager, I asked for a refund. Only then was I informed that they would charge a 20% restock fee to return a mattress. I paid the money, just to put all of this behind me. I could go on and on but I will stop here. Don’t get me wrong, the zero percent financing is great, ordering what you want is a breeze, but don’t hold your breath waiting on your order. We live an hour away, which they said they wouldn’t deliver, we were aware, and totally fine with that. When we made our purchase and order, we were told it would be here by the 13th of Feb. When I called to check earlier this week, they said it would be this Saturday, the 18th, by 10am. If not by 10am that day, they told me it would for sure be there by 3pm that same day, and that if it wasn’t going to show they would call us Friday night. So, without that call, to get our room ready for our new bed, we got rid of our old bed today before we made the hour drive to Jonesboro! After spending 4+ hours in Jonesboro, mind you, they didn’t even call us that day to let us know our order wasn’t in, we showed up just for them to tell us our order is still at the warehouse in Memphis! The icing on the cake is that the manager told us if we wanted it today, that we could just go over to Memphis and pick it up ourselves! So now, being pregnant, I’ll be sleeping on our couch for god knows how long until they decide to get our mattress in! I honestly feel that if they have no clue when their orders are coming in, they shouldn’t give us a date at all, because situations like this arise! Now we’re out money for borrowing a truck, gas money in said truck, and renting a trailer since they don’t deliver. I just think it’s wrong that they have their money, but I don’t have my product. Read moreI waited long enough to get this company to do the right thing, and they have done nothing. So here’s my review. My husband and I went in to find a Queen Mattress that was firm but not too firm. I tried out a few and found one I liked, but it was really expensive. The manager and associate, Daniel, said they had one just like it in their warehouse. So we bought it, going on their word. Also on the fact that their company says you have 120 days to see if you like it. The mattress came and the first night was like lying on concrete. I called the next day and wanted to exchange it. I was told that anything in the warehouse is sold as is and can’t be exchanged or returned. That was NEVER discussed before signing the bill. So here it is, July 10, 2022, and I’ve called numerous times and have been told ‘we’re working on getting this resolved for you.’ But nothing has been done. I was going to file a complaint with the BBB but they aren’t a part of the BBB. Just wish I had looked before buying! I have registered a complaint against the store’s manager and their policy. Don’t buy any Mattresses from Mattress Firm in Jonesboro, AR. You’ll regret it!!!...
