Had 6yo bday there. Of course she LOVED it! Her friends had a great time. It was not, however, the carefree bday experience promoted. For example, they were not very well organized at all. They had some kind of issue with another party at the same time, so we had to just sit and wait 20 minutes while they figured things out. They didn't give my party their balloons, although there were balloons sat at an empty table across from us that I believe we're sat there for us but the girl just forgot to put them out, so they just sat there in the empty table. They totally forgot to let my child in the ticket blaster, in place of that experience she was offered a measly 200 points, even though I asked to go ahead and let her do the blaster. The guests stood around and waited for about 30minutes in all before they finally had the play cards ready, and since they do the food last my guests were literally just standing. I miss the days of coins, because you could buy an extra hundred and pass those out to guests but these cards they use now cut that out. The games have gotten a bit high as well. I was going to buy a 31.00 lot of 90 and put some on several cards, they guy rudely told me "that's like 3 games each", he just wasn't friendly or helpful. I did get the 90 and put them on 3 cards, not knowing the card and coil costs $3 extra each. Since none of their parties come with a good deal for adult guests I ordered their 41.00 special which gave my guests pizza and drinks...we ate off of napkins because I couldn't catch "my" party host to get plates. And being the STAR of the show actually meant that my child shared the stage with 3 other parties and her name was mentioned at the end. Spent about 215.00 on a 6 child bday party, which would have been fine if all the other stuff hadn't been so messed up, that is still less than any other venue in Jonesboro, but I think I should have had the 260.00 Hyjinx party where you actually DO have everything planned so you simply arrive and enjoy. I was stressed so much that I couldn't even enjoy the day, luckily the kids were in hog heaven once they finally got their cards so the waiting was quickly forgotten and for my 6yo it was still the "best day ever". Not likely to have another bday party here though. The pizza was good and the games that...
Read moreWe decided to have our twins 3rd birthday here but NEVER AGAIN!! My kids did have fun playing some of the games but when we got there it took over 30 minutes for someone to come out and let us sit down. There was 12 people with us in the party so we were taking up the whole entrance and there was one lady working at the checkout and didn’t even look up to call someone. Yes she was with someone but she could have yelled at someone else to come up there. We ordered 2 XL pizza for our party (size is a joke) they brought it out even though we asked them to wait till we told them to cook it so our kids could play. It was on the table in about 20 minutes. The drinks were WAY overpriced for the size. After eating the pizza we added more time on our card for the kids. About 10 minutes of playing I went to the machine to pause the time so we could do presents for the people In my group that had to leave early. It said it paused but apparently it didn’t. My kids and husband went back to play games and it said it was expired. I went to talk to the manager about it and she acted like I was just trying to get free time. She checked the card and said “see here it shows you didn’t play for 15 minutes” I told her that’s what I am telling you it did not pause my card. She said “what do you want me to do. I can’t give you the time back. I can give you 15 points.” I said just forget it. We will eat our cake then leave. When we were done and went to redeem our tickets it took over 35 minutes with just 1 family in front of us. I was so done at this point. When we were leaving I heard some of the employees greeting people right away and sounding nice and attentive which really made the choice of never going back 100%. I’ll pay extra to go...
Read moreI went here for my niece’s small get together for her birthday, so we didn’t have a official birthday celebration, but none the less the staff made it awesome for her. The pizza was super good honestly, most people like to talk down on it but you can see the chefs bringing it out and you can see they love their job so like you KNOW the food is made with care. The manager on duty was also super good, I felt horrible because I guess I broke a game that dispensed tokens and they fell to push more out to get tickets but when I kept apologizing, as I have super anxiety, she kept assuring me that it was alright, and that the game has a habit of doing such but they’re fixing it. I enjoyed playing the games as this is Chuck E Cheese, you can be eighty and enjoy it here honestly. It’s safe and I would honestly prefer it here than going to hijinx or a Dave and busters due to all the safety measures in place especially with Covid still around. I’ll definitely be back and I’ll bring my family and friends for this fun establishment. My only small issue was the pause-minutes time only works once, and as someone that suffers from certain chronic illnesses, I would hate for my minutes to run out due to 3-5 trips to a bathroom during the stay. I understand it can be misused but it did bum me out a bit, but it’s probably for...
