I've been here many, many times. I quit giving this place business around three months ago due to my experiences with bad service.
One of my first encounters with bad service involved an employee bragging about how much she was enjoying the methadone she was on and how great it is to be paid "off the books." She spent over forty minutes standing at our table. In addition, she elaborated on how many of the employees are paid in food and with rooms in the establishment. Not only was this astoundingly classy, but quite admirable in retrospect.
In general the food is sub-par. It's the most affordable, but you get what you pay for. Prepare for the sushi bar to not be stocked with anything but Philadelphia rolls, and the seafood to taste a week old.
One of my biggest gripes with this place is the inability of the employees to realize that this is a buffet and there are certain barriers that you do not break. In particular, a person should not be hounded after there first plate to leave. I understand if the person has been there an hour, but not less than ten minutes. This has happened many times and was ultimately the reason I quit giving this place business. (It's sad to say that this bothered me more than the accusation of indentured labor, but that's how things go.)
You can blame the "language barrier" for many of the problems this establishment faces, but shady employees and mediocre food do not justify giving this place...
Read moreWILL NOT BE BACK! I have eaten at this establishment several times in the past. Never had a problem until last night. My husband and I had just sat down with our first plate and barely ate two bites, when the middle eastern woman working decided to bring us our check and explain to us that "People like to not pay and leave". I thought it was a bit rude, but thought maybe there was a language barrier, and somehow I might have misunderstood her. We continued eating and tried to enjoy our night, when my husband pointed out the middle eastern man working last night was continuously staring at him. It was obvious at this point we were being targeted and watched like we were some thieves. I told my husband let's finish this plate, and we'll pay and leave. No sooner than those words came out of my mouth, the middle eastern man comes to our table and asks if we would like refills on drinks that were still full (making an excuse to come to the table). We said no thank you, and then proceeds to ask if we'd like him to take the bill to the register for us. That was the last straw. We got up, PAID our $40 bill, and left. We didn't even finish our food. We were there a total of maybe 15 minutes when all of this occurred. They weren't about to close, nor extremely busy. Some of the worst service I have ever recieved. Since this is how they want to treat their customers, I'll take my $40 to Fuji next time. They most definitley lost...
Read moreTerrible customer service!!!!! I just left with my family after a horrific experience Im a vegetarian so my options are limited and I got potatoes rice and noodles and I ate my potatoes and as I was trying to eat my noodles when I seen a small yellow and black thing it looked like a wing of a lady bug so I took it to the only man in the place that spoke English and he looked at me like I disrespected him and said it wasn't a bug it was probably plastic and told me to just get more noodles. I sat back down and didn't eat anything else I waited for my check and asked to speak with someone where I can get my meal taken off since alls I had eaten was a potato and the man that I took the thing to walked up and said "we are still talking about this again" and told me he could only give me a 10 percent and nothing more and then argued with me and told me he knows the law and I asked to speak to the person over him and he said "how good is your Chinese" and I just gave up because they basically thought I put it in there myself! Dnt waste your money or time there food was cold and have "plastic". Terrible...
