Summary: Best General Tso's I've had and expensive presentation all for under $10 (lunch menu).

I had heard people bragging about this place, so I decided to go here for lunch. I was a little hesitant because I work at the university, and this place is across town, but decided to go anyways I must say, I'm glad I did. We walked in the place and was surprised to see a legitimate Chinese restaurant, not a buffet. We were seated promptly, and our server was prompt in taking our drink orders. I ordered sweet tea, which was perfect; it wasn't too sweet, but sweet enough. I thought about ordering sushi, but decided on the General Two's lunch special and added egg drop soup for $.50 extra. My buddy ordered the same but opted for an order of crab rangoons. My soup and his appetizer came out quick. I was amazed by the soup. It was vastly different from the buffet variety. The rangoons were delicious, too. Halfway before I could finish my soup, the main dish was delivered. The presentation was similar to what you would expect from a P.F. Chang's; food was served on large, white square plates, with two hills of white rice, an egg roll, and a crab rangoon. The General Tso's chicken was top notch. It had just enough heat to make my forehead sweat. It even had a few whole chili peppers in the sauce. The chicken itself was well prepared. They had the right amount of crunch, even after being covered in sauce. I did, however, have two pieces of chicken that had a bit of chewy tendons, but that didn't detract from the experience. I still consider this the best Tso's I've ever had. The best part of all is that my check total was $8.81. I also left a $2 tip, which brought the total to $10.81. Considering the meal I ate was with at least $15 by itself, I consider this a steal! And I will be coming here more often. Next time, I'll hit up...

This place is about as authentic as it comes when it comes to Asian type food I absolutely love the tai shrimp drunken noodle fabulous everything that they do whether it be Korean Chinese Japanese sushi or whatever it may be these guys are absolutely on point and it’s definitely worth stopping in for But if you’re looking for a Chinese buffet this is not the place they make individual servings and they do everything to order just things such as regular fried rice or Bulgogi whatever it may be they are about as authentic in each category as they come and they step outside the box and make everything their own and I think that you will enjoy it I actually probably eat there at least four or five times a month sometimes but at least one or two times a month and I’m going to give them five stars because of the reason that even the things that may not be five-star as far as food quality everything that they do is good I’ve never ever gotten something bad at a certain time of day or certain time and not every time that I’ve went there I’ve always gotten fresh hot quality food never is it slacked on at all it may not always be the best at what it is that you order you might find somewhere else that might have make a little bit better of some thing than what they do but it’s consistent every time definitely worth your money you don’t have a long wait they...

NASTY FOOD SMALL PORTIONS! Did take out. 1st time ever there and LAST time. Went only because Trip Advisor...when I called to complain I was told BY THE OWNER... "open 7 year.. No one ever complained before me about the food or portion size. Not enough food for you lady you order 2 meal next time! Eggs rolls HAD NOTHING IN THEM AND SWEET SOUR CHICKEN had 17 super small pieces... The S&S shrimp was 9 SMALL pieces... 2 egg rolls beef fried rice and fried rice and 8 NASTY CRAB RANGOON'S... Paid $31.64. Paid with debit NO TIP ADD... Liked at acct online... They changed the price from $31.64 pending.. After I completed and wanted my money back or some ignorant to $37.94????? ILLEGAL!!! CROOKS AND NASDTY FOOD. TOLD BY owner if I want $ back bring food back that policy.... I told her I didn't understand if she was the owner... SHE MAKES THE POLICIES... and SHE COULD TAKE CARE OF A CUSTOMER AND REFUND MONEY OR NOT. SHE IS THE OWNER HER WORD IS GOLD.. she wasn't going to change ploicy! 90% of food was gone...
