Waffle House — Restaurant in Jonesboro

Horrible atmosphere on Saturday night. Came in to every table that was empty (4 total) needing wiped down. No one attempting to clean them. Our waitress came in from outside, cleaned the table we had sat at after rudely telling us to get up so she could wipe it down and making a comment about don’t sit at a dirty table. She took our order, then walked back outside without even giving our order to the cooks. She came back in a few minutes later gave our order and told another group they couldn’t sit at those tables because they are not clean. She proceeded to walk outside again. Food was fine once we finally got it, however once again, it was dropped off and waitress left to go sit in her vehicle. I know this because we checked out after waiting about 10 minutes at the register with another waiter. When walking out we saw her In her van. Won’t even get into the vulgar music playing or the language displayed by the staff. There was no hospitality, no teamwork. This place has gone severely downhill....

The service was fair. Three of us eating, each persons food came at different times and came in stages. The first order was biscuit gravy and hash browns. The biscuit and gravy came and couple minutes later the hash browns. Second order was 2 eggs over medium well with biscuit and bacon. The eggs and biscuit came out about 3 min after 1st order, another 5 minutes and the bacon arrived burnt. Another few minutes the 3rd order started coming. Sausage first about the time it got cold the eggs and hash browns arrived. Another 5 minutes and the toast was finally at the table. Food arrived a little at a time over about a 20 minute period. People arrived after us ordered pretty much the same as us and got their orders 10 minutes before ours started coming out. Theirs all arrived at the same time. We wont...

This Waffle House on Parker Road has twice not allowed a person in a group to pull up a chair to a booth to sit with the people they came with. Tonight, the waitress insisted that the person paying for our group had to go to the register, although he has trouble walking. Another person in our group went to the register for him. The group total was $66 and some change. He tried to pay with cash, they didn't have enough change. So he paid with a card instead and then she rang up the order for a smaller amount. She typed in cash for part of the amount although no cash was used. So he had to pay the difference. It has been the same waitress each time that we've had these issues. I will not be back to this location after the poor service I've seen on...
