Visited today with a larger party of 12. I understand that with a party of that size it will take a little longer. When we arrived we were told it would be a 20-30 minute wait. After about 45 minutes, we went to nicely ask the hostess how much longer, she was very rude and unprofessional to us as well as others coming in. She even turned a few away while we were waiting because she didn’t even know how long the wait would be and couldn’t handle the pressure of her job. She continually seated groups of 2 at 6-8 people tables ….while we waited. Ended up waiting for a table with 2 people (who came in after us and were sitting in a 6 person table) to finish eating and eventually walked the hostess through combining that table with another nearby so we could be seated. This was after over an hour of waiting and no sign of her trying to work on us a table. When we finally got to the table and ordered. We waited for quite a while again….very patiently because we didn’t want to take the hostess issues out on our waitress. Our food finally came out after the restaurant had almost cleared out. At this point it was over 2 hours total of waiting time. Most of our order was correct, but still missing some stuff including food for my very hungry 6 year old at this point. The waitress was very nice, and had good customer service. However, we were charged for more food than what actually received. With the confusion of the kitchen forgetting food and having to reorder a couple things we ended up paying for the originals and the new orders. Super disappointed in this place all around. I have been a few different times for brunch with good luck, but very sad about how it went today. Especially since it was my mother in laws birthday celebration. Sincerely hope you can find a way work on these issues. One very...
Read moreI had high hopes for Main Street Biscuit Company. The menu looked yummy. The pics looked yummy. Unfortunately, what came out didn’t measure up. The fries were not fresh at all nor was the gravy. The egg was fresh, but not prepared like I ordered it. I ordered over medium & received over easy. Nothing was hot. Anyway, the waitress did her job well. When I asked what she recommended, she had answers. The whole reason I went there was for the shrimp & grits which were still on the menu, but no longer available due to lack of customer response. The atmosphere is nice & it’s located conveniently in the heart of Joshua. In the morning, it’s Main Street Biscuit Company. After a certain time, it changes to the Hickory Tree. Overall, I was disappointed, but may give the place one more chance. Perhaps a Sunday would...
Read moreThis place has a pretty nice open old industrial red brick decor that is very chill and conducive for good conversation with a small party. The only room for improvement the atmosphere has is when first entering the restaurant has the distinct smell of a public school cafeteria. The food was excellent, my party ordered the Tina, the nunchuck skills, and the chicken pot pie. No one was dissatisfied and no one was hungry when we left. The biscuit sandwiches are serious, I did not understand the volume of food I was in for when I ordered, one order could feed me twice, so the volume of food to money spent is well worth it. Service was quick and friendly, I hope to come back for the...
