The store is always cluttered with boxes of items in the isles. The employee who I had to deal with was more worried about smoking her cigarette than anything. She kept going outside to smoke when she could have been helping the other employee put stuff away or try giving customers better customer service. She had a very bad attitude and acted like customers were a problem when they walked in. She huffed and seriously puffed every time a customer came in the door. The shelves in the store were not all organized and labeled to where you could understand pricing. The toy section was very poor in the selection, and very disorganized, but I guess that is because the boxes of stuff on the ground needed to be put up. I walked around the entire store and noticed only certain areas had been organized and somewhat labeled correctly. That's when I saw the 2nd employee still bringing out more boxes while the 1st employee was outside smoking her cigarettes yet again, instead of helping put away items, assisting customers, organizing shelves, checking pricing on items and labeling them, or doing something to make the store better for everyone. I don't recommend this store location unless you are desperate. They need to change things up or get employees in there that will do a better job of making that store what it should be for customers including better customer service and not an employee who is worried about smoking all the time and not helping in the store, or giving better customer service. I was in the store for 45 minutes looking for a certain item which I finally did find and yes I did find other items and I did spend money in the store. Poor customer service more than once! Treated very rudely in front of a whole line of customers. At checkout, I asked if Family Dollar charged a fee for cashback and was told no, so I opted to get cashback. As I was leaving, I checked receipt and there was a $1 fee for my cashback. So, I wanted a refund and the female manager or lead worker yelled that it stated very clearly on credit/debit card machine there was a fee. I told her that I asked her cashier; not the machine and was told there was no fee. She said her cashier had only been working for 3 WEEKS and wouldn't know that! Went into this store looking for pokemon cards. Was greeted by Valerie. Was surprised how clean the store was after visiting Dollar General. We walked the store and noticed every employee working on restocking. I don't like asking for help so we thought yall didn't have pokemon cards. Ended up about to exit when Valerie asked if we didn't find what we were looking for. We said we were looking for Pokémon cards and she said they keep them at the front desk. Ended up getting a pack and walked out without having to go to Walmart! Great job...
