$100 wasted the fried Fried Calamari was dry and way overcooked to the point of rubber, the Lobster Ravioli came with four raviolis and didn't even taste like how you'd expect a Lobster Ravioli to taste, the Spaghetti tasted like it came from a jar and not a good quality jar, and lastly my Strawberry Cheesecake slice was wrapped in plastic and just wasn't good even Jack in the Box serves a better cheesecake. The only good thing was the Garlic Bread with Cheese, but even that was unbiteable. I really wanted to give this place the benefit of a doubt because their Neapolitan pizza and tiramisu is absolutely delicious, but it was really that bad tonight. We just called and the manager was extremely rude in his words "We've been here awhile and never had a complaint" and "It must be your bad taste". As someone who works in food service and knows how it can be I understand how difficult it can be sometimes, but I'd never talk to my customers the way you spoke to us on the phone. The door dasher was absolutely amazing and...
Read moreLet me share our disappointing experience. It took 1 hour to get the food. The beef tortellini's sauce tastes and smelled soured. I asked for a manager and I'm guessing it was the owner. All he wanted to do was defend his sauce. Even asked if I've had it before elsewhere and of course I had. I told him maybe his heavy cream was soured or something. But no he wasn't having any of that. Than the rest of the dishes started to get tasted (because we had to send the chicken Alfredo back because there was no chicken). The Alfredo sauce again soured and left a bad after taste. The pizza was so chewy the kids couldn't chew it. My son's chicken Parm was ok but the spaghetti had Alfredo so he didn't eat that. So over all it was a terrible experience and we won't be back. Come to find out the head chef left early because he was sick. Maybe that explains our bad experience when most of the reviews are good. Shame really because we love...
Read moreBeing from NYC, there aren’t a lot of Italian restaurant options around the Johnson County area, so to find his hole-in-the-wall in Joshua was a surprise. The stuffed mushrooms were absolutely delicious, the fried calamari looked like onion rings, and I wasn’t really a fan of the way they made them. Here. The minestrone soup was flavorful and well done. Next time, I will get a bigger bowl. For my entrée, I had the chicken Parm. The chicken was seasoned the right way, just like back home. For dessert, I had to get a cannoli. The cream was 100% perfect, but the shell was a little old, I think. Other than that, it was great. I’ve had worse. The sweet tea was really sweet and needed more sugar. That decor was great, the service was fantastic, and the environment was family-friendly. I will definitely come back again and have those stuffed mushrooms and maybe try the eggplant Parmesan next. Great...
