Our company chose this establishment for our company Christmas party last night and our experience at this restaurant was truly disappointing. The waitress, Victoria, was unpleasant and dismissive from the start. Whenever we requested anything, she would roll her eyes, make nasty faces, and even go on to blame the bar and kitchen staff for her lack of. Every excuse was that it was due to everything other than her. We watched the restaurant go from full to almost empty and the excuses still kept rolling in. When I asked for a steak, she told us that the kitchen doesn't like to “cook them right the first time”, and then later came back with the only smile on her face all night to inform us that there were no steaks available – even though we could see them in the cooler at the front.
When it came time to order anything, Victoria refused to walk around the table of 14 to take orders. Instead, she stood at one end of the table and had everyone shout their orders to the opposite side. Additionally, half of our party had to go retrieve their soda refills and sauces. To make matters worse, after only two hours and a drink or two per person (as our ticket reflects), another employee approached us to inform us that the “district manager of the JC location” was cutting off any further alcohol for our party. When she was asked to repeat herself so that the whole table could hear her she started stuttering and some of her words changed, indicating that this very likely did not come from anyone, but I believe it to be very likely due to the waitress not wanting to do any additional drink runs for our table since she acted extremely put out.
Although the food was decent-ish, Victoria's terrible service left a bad taste in our mouths. We have decided not to return to this establishment following our unpleasant experience. Our ticket total at the end was over $650 and would have gone up a lot more had the service not been...
Read moreWait service has been terrible these last four visits, we enjoy the wings and other items on the menu so we keep coming back but I think this was the last straw. We got silverware and had to ask for napkins, which I mean come on we are eventually gonna need them why not give them to us as we sit, but anyways, we got our drinks and no straws so had to ask for those. Asked for ketchup for a burger and two sides of fries, she brings back two ketchup packets, really, two ketchup packets, so I ask for more as two packets will not cut it, she says they are not allowed to grab a whole bunch with our hands.....I was unsure why it was so hard to just grab one at a time ( if that's their procedure) and place them in the opposing hand to get enough for two sides of fries and a burger. The waitress was obviously annoyed so ignored us the rest of the time, we had to shout her down for another Modelo and she still didn't make us feel like a guest and she proceeds to visit 2 other tables and then walks to the back. Which had me confused because the bar was right in front. So my guest gets his own beer at the bar, seems that's how it had to be. We finish our meal with no contact back from the waitress. We even had to ask another waitress if we could get our ticket. Then the manager comes and brings the ticket. At this point I'm hoping to share with her our experience and she says nothing. We both know why she is there, but says nothing. This place needs massive customer service training and the manager that we spoke with needs coaching and supervisor training. Read moreFirst time ever coming to this restaurant, my actual waitress Jamie was good, made small talk with my son, she was attentive, food was decent. I had been craving ribs all day and this is the only place in JC that sells them. In the middle of eating my 4 year old son needed to use the restroom, I even spoke with my waitress stating I was taking him to the restroom as acknowledgement dment just so she knows we weren’t leaving and still eating. We come back from the restroom and two random lady servers were chatting up a storm clearing mine and my sons table! Trash already piled on top of my food and I stated we were not done eating. One of the ladies that was clearing the table runs to the kitchen to put in another order of food for me without even asking. I spoke with my actual server and said no I don’t want more food that is not the route to go about with this cause then I would have to wait for that and at this point I’m just ready to go because I’m guessing the manager was told about what happened and then comes over to me and asked how my experience was and when I said service was awful she said she knows she heard and she’s sorry and she told me to hold on for a minute while she gets something, didn’t clarify what she was doing and I don’t her no don’t worry about anything at this point I’m ready to go? With all due respect that is not appropriate customer service. I paid full price for the entire meal for them to throw it away they could have at least cut my bill in half.
