So, I’ve been coming to this McDonald’s for a while, and usually I’ve never had a single issue. The staff are both cordial and efficient. However, the one night shift worker with the glasses and the poofy hair, has been both rude and disrespectful to both my boyfriend and I consistently. Tonight was the second time in a row that he input our order incorrectly, but when trying to ask him about it, he never responds or just shuts us down. We ordered 1 mcchicken and 1 McDouble meal, that each come with 4 nuggets, fries, and a drink. When we got to the first window, this guy didn’t confirm theborderbwithbus, and I assumed he did his job right, but he just charged everything individually, and charged us for 10 nuggets, and we never got the drinks that came with the meals either. And another employee confirmed this McDonald’s is already more expensive than most due to the location, so, so genuinely feel somewhat taken advantage of, and he didn’t even care, or even tell us if we were good to continue to the next window, like geez, use your words.
Now, the gentleman at the 2nd window confirmed that first worker input our order wrong, and just said, “Sorry bro,” and then told us he couldn’t give us the nuggets or correct the order.
Now, I’ve worked in food service for over 12 years, and I know the night shifts suck, but dude, have some common decency. It isn’t that hard to correct your own mistake, or at least take accountability and provide some kind of resolution. I’m not saying get any food for free, but at LEAST give me the option to pay for the meal I initially ordered.
I know this isn’t that huge of a deal, and no one’s probably even gonna read this, but I had to get my thoughts out bc I am so sick of that one guy’s attitude. Like, if you don’t like working there, there are other restaurants hiring, but don’t project your bs onto me at 1am, when I am tired as all hell, and I just want the correct order the first time.
I work late most nights, and by the time I get the chance to get dinner, I have to deal with this guy every single time I go (bc there isn’t any other place open near me by the time I get off) and it’s always the same. He’s rude, is a horrible communicator on the drive thru, and seems to never get our order right. When I order food with anyone else, it’s always correct and FRESH, but I swear, this guy gives me the oldest and sometimes COLDEST nuggets & fries. This guy makes me not want to go back, but it’s the closest one to my house, as I live outside the city, so anywhere else is unnecessarily far at that time of night.
Just pls have some common courtesy and be kind. You never know what’s someone’s going thru, and honestly, if he just put in a little more effort/compassion, I wouldn’t have written...
Read moreUpdate: this location seems to be improving based on my recent visits. I’m not sure what has brought about the change, but I hope they keep it up!
I don’t understand what's happening at this McDonald's location. It's never been amazing, but I don't really have super high expectations of any fast food establishment. This one at least once had reliable hours of operation. It's a frequent diet coke stop for me. (This is especially true in the past couple of weeks as I await delivery of my new refrigerator.) On Sunday last week, I had to be up super early. I wanted an icy drink, so I confirmed with Google Maps that they were open 24/7. I remembered to be the case, but I didn't want to trust my memory completely. I went to the drive-thru to find a sign in the window stating they'd be open at 7 a.m. "Bummer!"I thought, ........"maybe they changed their hours for Sundays." Didn't think anything else of it. Today, Saturday, I went to the drive-thru for an icy drink to have with my breakfast. It wasn't terribly early, 6:30 a.m. It never even occurred to me to check hours of operation. It's breakfast! Everyone (especially fast food) who serves breakfast is open by 6:30, right? WRONG! I pulled into the drive-thru and waited at the speaker for a few moments. Nothing happened so I assumed that it was broken (a known issue here). When I rounded the corner to see multiple employees through the drive-thru window, I figured someone would simply take my order. No one did. I read the posted sign which stated that they closed at 10 p.m. and would open at 6 a.m. I double-checked the time to be sure I wasn't mistaken. My cell registered a time of 6:35 a.m. Figuring that maybe they hadn't seen me, I rolled down the window of my car and made eye contact. The lady who came to the window began barking at me stating that they were closed and that they would be open at 7. I'm sure I looked confused when I pointed out that the sign that was posted in the window RIGHT in front of her stated that they opened at 6. "But your sign says that you're open at 6," I stated, almost literally scatching my head in confusion, LOL. She slammed the window and walked away without saying a word. I sure hope they...
Read moreSome homeless man came in a fought me and also bit me while i was enjoying my meal. This is not a joke. The head manager (mr.wheety) was then hesitant to call the police, he also told me not to spit on the floor even though this homlessman was bleeding everywhere and NO ONE INCLUDING THE "BOSS" mr. Wheety would help me ristrain the crazed drunk. He then told me that i cant tell him anything because i am not a customer. They through out the remainder of my food. (2½hamburgers and a parfait) and didnt want to give me anything. After the cops showed up he was happy that they got the guy i had to restrain myself for over ten minutes. And he told me to get out of the store because i took my shirt off.(it was covered in the man blood not my own) and told me to get out. I was asking for the boss to record the security footage and the police told him it was ok if i do. He refused and told me that i can't tell him what to do, and at this point i asked for his superior. He told me she's away. I told him to call her and her also refused because and I quote "i don't want to get involved, you can't tell me what to do, you're not a customer". He then left to the back of the store and didn't show his face. He was the manager when this happened and he is already involved. He.deserves to be fired for not complying to a customer when demanding to speak to his superior. They cannot refuse or deny this to a paying customer regardless if i was...
