I usually head over to Berry Fresh, The Center Street Nook, etc. Breakfast is like Mexican food.... doesn't matter what you get it's all the same ingredients. Everywhere was full today so decided to try Suzy Q restaurant and is was horrible. There is no atmosphere or charm. The staff is rushed and worn down. The prices don't justify the quality. Also I ordered a breakfast skillet and it was the saddest skillet I have ever seen. Just food thrown in a plate. Breakfast skillet are supposed to come in a skillet....a nice hot sizzling skillet pilled nicely. This was opposite of that. See attached picture. The skillet was so sad. It's comparable to ordering a Moscow Mule and receiving it in a cup instead of a copper mug.... it's like ordering a Aperol Spritz and receiving in a cup instead of a glass. Everything was so sad here, the food, the people, the ambience. Felt like a nursing home. I almost walked out but stayed for the sake of my family. It's sad to go out and there be no character or presentation for the food you are receiving. But yet again most people eating here wouldn't understand that anyways. I give this place a -5 stars.

When I was walking in, one of the staff members was walking in before me. She turned and looked at me and dropped the door in my face. That wasn't the best start. There is a sign that says seat yourself. Service was pretty quick, but my eggs in my $17 benedict were undercooked. The white was watery. Also on of the sides barely had any salmon. The hash browns and hollandaise sauce just looked off to me, like a cartoon. It was just not right for some reason. My $5 small cup of OJ was pretty good. The server let me know I could pay at the register. After tipping $3, its was over $25 for sub par food, service and atmosphere. Won't be back 😔 unfortunately... still looking for a good diner around.

This little hidden gem is amazing! Everytime I'm in town, I have to stop in there for some fantastic dishes. It's a diner and the menu is extensive. You want breakfast? They have so many to choose from, eggs, omelettes, pancakes, oatmeal, to even scrapple (jk, I might have read it wrong, they don't have scrapple.) Is it lunch you're after? They have everything from salads, sandwiches, burgers, and everything in between. It might take you a bit to look at the menu. You have so many options. They are only open for Breakfast and Lunch. So get there before 2pm (hours might differ from when I posted this). Don't take my word for it, go check them out.

Cute place and the food and staff here may be great. Unfortunately, they did not have a single non dairy milk option for coffee, and I really needed a coffee. So, if you don't have any allergies or food sensitivities, you may be fine here. Otherwise, you will have to go elsewhere as I did. In this day and age, I expect every place to carry a non-dairy option. To have one almond or oat milk on hand is inexpensive, and the shelf life is longer than dairy. If you are vegan or vegetarian, or have a dairy allergy...skip it, or bring your own in your purse ; ) I do understand that it is hard to cater to everyone, just giving a heads up! Update re: "Response from Owner" If you are talking about the non-dairy creamers that come in the little plastic cups with the peel off lids-I don't consider them edible-they are full of toxins and give me and many instant cramps-TMI-lol. A non dairy milk would be oat, almond, soy, coconut, etc and they come in a carton similar to dairy milk. Most vegans and Vegetarians are not that picky and would be grateful for anyone of those. When I asked the staff if they had any non dairy milk options, I was told you had none. I am not telling you what to carry in your business-I'm sure you have plenty of customers who are fine with what you carry. The review is simply to help people with dairy allergies and sensitivities know that you did not have a good option the day I was there and to help them plan or choose accordingly. There was no...

Let me preface this by stating that I would never offer a review based on one negative experience. I don't think that would be fair. I've eaten here at least 20 times over the past few months. I recently moved to the area and the thought of a charming little diner near by was (still is) magnificent! Plus I love breakfast 😁 The issue that I have is not with the food. It's really delicious! If at some point I thought otherwise, I'm sure they'd be willing to remake or replace it. My issue is rather with the atmosphere. At first I thought it was a little cold because I wasn't a "regular ". However, the vibe never really changed. Ultimately I was fine with that. I continued to dine there with few issues for a while. The last straw for me was this: in the past month, I felt like I couldn't even enjoy a meal. Why? Because every time I sat down to enjoy a nice breakfast, I was, along with my party of 4, ushered out as quickly as possible. At times it was more subtle-the server would bring the check during the meal and never return (often asking if refills "to go" were needed ). Other times, the prompt was more overt: "Suzie" would like you to leave. I'm not sure who Suzie is so I couldn't verify her presence one way or the other. I just found this latest, "get in/get out" trend to be unacceptable. I hope to give them another try at some point. For now, I'll make my...

Currently scathing, arrived at Suzie Qs at 1pm on a Sunday with my fiancĂ© and sleeping baby in a car seat carrier. There was no wait inside with several tables and booths empty and the outside was empty as well. Was taken to a table and offered a high chair to flip over to put the baby in and with her sleeping I just didn’t feel comfortable and would prefer a booth. The hostess stated that booths were reserved with parties of four or more although there were several booths open and no wait. We asked again and the hostess then stated again they were for parties of four or more. We politely declined and left and went to The Blue Moon diner down the road and were sat in a booth with no problem. It just struck me as very “off” and not good customer service because we go there frequently for breakfast and have seen the hostess from her days at Debra’s place. If it were under different circumstances such as being at a peak time of day or if there was a wait for a booth then it would be completely understandable but unfortunately that was not the case. The food is great but there are many other breakfast/brunch places with great food and great customer service to accompany it. Will not...
