Cute place and the food and staff here may be great. Unfortunately, they did not have a single non dairy milk option for coffee, and I really needed a coffee. So, if you don't have any allergies or food sensitivities, you may be fine here. Otherwise, you will have to go elsewhere as I did. In this day and age, I expect every place to carry a non-dairy option. To have one almond or oat milk on hand is inexpensive, and the shelf life is longer than dairy. If you are vegan or vegetarian, or have a dairy allergy...skip it, or bring your own in your purse ; ) I do understand that it is hard to cater to everyone, just giving a heads up! Update re: "Response from Owner" If you are talking about the non-dairy creamers that come in the little plastic cups with the peel off lids-I don't consider them edible-they are full of toxins and give me and many instant cramps-TMI-lol. A non dairy milk would be oat, almond, soy, coconut, etc and they come in a carton similar to dairy milk. Most vegans and Vegetarians are not that picky and would be grateful for anyone of those. When I asked the staff if they had any non dairy milk options, I was told you had none. I am not telling you what to carry in your business-I'm sure you have plenty of customers who are fine with what you carry. The review is simply to help people with dairy allergies and sensitivities know that you did not have a good option the day I was there and to help them plan or choose accordingly. There was no...
Read moreLet me preface this by stating that I would never offer a review based on one negative experience. I don't think that would be fair. I've eaten here at least 20 times over the past few months. I recently moved to the area and the thought of a charming little diner near by was (still is) magnificent! Plus I love breakfast đ The issue that I have is not with the food. It's really delicious! If at some point I thought otherwise, I'm sure they'd be willing to remake or replace it. My issue is rather with the atmosphere. At first I thought it was a little cold because I wasn't a "regular ". However, the vibe never really changed. Ultimately I was fine with that. I continued to dine there with few issues for a while. The last straw for me was this: in the past month, I felt like I couldn't even enjoy a meal. Why? Because every time I sat down to enjoy a nice breakfast, I was, along with my party of 4, ushered out as quickly as possible. At times it was more subtle-the server would bring the check during the meal and never return (often asking if refills "to go" were needed ). Other times, the prompt was more overt: "Suzie" would like you to leave. I'm not sure who Suzie is so I couldn't verify her presence one way or the other. I just found this latest, "get in/get out" trend to be unacceptable. I hope to give them another try at some point. For now, I'll make my...
Read moreCurrently scathing, arrived at Suzie Qs at 1pm on a Sunday with my fiancĂ© and sleeping baby in a car seat carrier. There was no wait inside with several tables and booths empty and the outside was empty as well. Was taken to a table and offered a high chair to flip over to put the baby in and with her sleeping I just didnât feel comfortable and would prefer a booth. The hostess stated that booths were reserved with parties of four or more although there were several booths open and no wait. We asked again and the hostess then stated again they were for parties of four or more. We politely declined and left and went to The Blue Moon diner down the road and were sat in a booth with no problem. It just struck me as very âoffâ and not good customer service because we go there frequently for breakfast and have seen the hostess from her days at Debraâs place. If it were under different circumstances such as being at a peak time of day or if there was a wait for a booth then it would be completely understandable but unfortunately that was not the case. The food is great but there are many other breakfast/brunch places with great food and great customer service to accompany it. Will not...
