And all the owner has to say is “Fake Review”. Go check out the propaganda yourself right inside the front door but don’t spend your money there.

Sorry, but I must be honest and say I was beyond disappointed in my birthday dinner last night. We so looked forward to a celebration and it was lukewarm. Firth the bread was brought before I even arrived so by the time I showed up it was cold. The server never told us of any specials for the evening. After we ordered we overheard them being told to the table next to us. We had to ask for additional plates, silverware, grated cheese and never from our server who was constantly missing. He stopped by once after we were served to see if we wanted another glass of wine; never asked if everything was OK. Then for dessert we specifically asked for a tartufo, he said they only had pistachio so I asked if it had nuts and he said no that it was only pistachio flavored. Now before you start saying it always has nuts, nope, I grew up in Brooklyn and Chinese restaurants had pistachio ice cream with cherries sans nuts. They brought out the house dessert gratis for my birthday, gee could you spare a candle? Then he brought the tartufo, which had nuts. Thankfully I am not allergic just not a fan or he could have severely harmed me. He never asked if we would like coffee or cappuccino. Oh yeah, there were not one but 2 singers there, you think they would have sung happy birthday, nope. I think they do well by their regulars but not so interested in new guests from what I observed. Sad, we could have gone anywhere and were expecting a fun night! Yes, before I posted this I discussed everything with the hostess/manager and the owner. The hostess/manager made sorry noises; the owner nothing, he merely said how surprised he was as the server was not like that. I guess we can cross this...

Excellent atmosphere with live singer, Franco Corso, along with locals who make for an extremely entertaining evening. Good food as usual and plenty of conversation. Even had children and adults dancing to popular music from Neil Diamond and other favorites. Only downside was TERRIBLE SERVICE from beginning to end with Waiter Danny. We took guests there for a celebration and each and every interaction with this waiter was disturbing. He has been there for years and we've ignored his negative personality but it's time for Uncle Eddie's to send him off. I love the place but guests were very, very upset at the service and again only this one waiter. Coffee was terribly old and when he brought to all guests without cream or sweeteners he seemed upset that we didn't drink it black. Lasagna was pretty good but delivered room temperature and taken home. Pork chop very good but he refused to take order as well done and didn't explain why. He ignored our table for 18 minutes before he came up to welcome us. He was like this to the table next to us and Danny was like this 4 years ago. We love the owners and Franco and owners son but ordinarily would have asked for a comp. Drink was good. Didn't clear plates. Asked for Togo containers and only brought 1 that wouldn't close.
