I am so glad that there's a Thai place that is this good near my workplace. My all-time favorite Thai restaurant is Thai Place is Redlands - their flavors and heat levels are spot on for me. At Little Buddha, they warn their patrons of their spice levels being quite a bit skewed towards their foods being on the more spicy side - which I prefer. At Thai Place in Redlands, the Thai spicy level is perfect for me; however, at Little Buddha, even their very spicy level wasn't spicy enough for me. The last time I was here I had to ask it for very spicy, and a little bit spicier than that. Their panang here is really good - perfect level of coconut milk flavor mixed wit curry. I think the thing that really won me over about this place is the meticulously cleaned shrimp - they are large pieces that are really juicy and they take the to properly remove the vein resulting in an extremely delicious, plump, juicy and clean piece of shrimp. I've also tried the LBTK fried rice that has pieces of fried pork and it is so good! They use Chinese broccoli in their pad-see-ewe which brings a great bitter contrast to the saltiness of the sauce. The pineapple fried rice is great with plenty of pineapple spread throughout the fried rice.
One thing that I would highly recommend ordering is the smashed lemonade. Honestly it's very similar in taste to lemonade from Hot Dog On a Stick, but it's just so good I nearly finished the whole thing there while dining in and on my lunch break but I wanted something I could savor throughout the day so I forced myself to pace myself with this drink.
There's another Thai place in the Eastvale Gateway shopping center, next to the Regal theater, however I think the food quality and taste, and just as important, the customer service, is quite a bit better at Little Buddha Thai Place than the other place (whose name escapes me at the moment) that's located next to the Regal theater.
Remember, they're closed from 3:00PM to...

We stumbled upon Little Buddha Thai Kitchen by accident and what a great thing. We were going to eat somewhere else and didn't want to wait so we saw Little Buddha and my family all agreed that it sounded good!
It is a small place with 6 tables. We were lucky and only had to wait about 5 minutes. As soon as we were seated we noticed wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. They have an extensive menu with lots of offerings.
We started with the chicken satay skewers and the spring rolls with tofu instead of shrimp. The chicken satay was 5 huge skewers with the best peanut sauce and an amazing cucumbers. This was a hit for sure. The spring rolls were quite amazing very fresh and light tasting and came with a delicious thick peanut sauce. This was my favorite dish of the night. We ordered (4 people ) Note - for each dish they ask how much spice mild, medium or spicy and customize your dish.
Pad See Ew - delicious. I prefer Chinese broccoli but this was excellent. Great flavor
Thai Fried Rice - this had the flavor of an old Thai restaurant we used to go to and loved until they closed so we were very happy. All Thai places have Thai fried rice but not like this. I consider this the traditional way to make it and it is my family's favorite. We enjoyed it very much.
Cashew chicken - what a refreshing and delicious dish. Just the right amount of spice ( medium)
Pineapple rice with tofu. - very good. Loved the flavor and good amount of cashews and I liked that the pineapple pieces were not too big.
The servers were so nice and attentive. Always there and seamless service checking on us and refilling waters. Very cool and comfortable vibe. Really awesome place to be.
I am thankful to have found Little Buddha Thai Kitchen. I will be coming here regularly as will my family. I could eat the spring rolls every day!! So I'll be here at least once a week and I will be bringing...
Read moreWell, had take out, ordered little buddah fried rice, and 1 order of dumplings. I really went there to try the dumplings. Well, the dumplings WERE NOT dumplings, but pot stickers. YAG! I dont know if they were home made or frozen re-heats. The fried rice was only ok, small grained rice with processed chicken loaf cuts, beef I am not sure of but was good, and a whole two pieces of shrimp!, NOT peeled too, it was kind of dry too. While waiting for my order, I noticed a couple next to me, the server brought out only his dish, while she sat there for another 7 minutes before they brought her her dish. I noticed that at another table of 4, the server would bring out the plate of food as it came off the wok, not all at once, like they only had 1 or 2 woks going. Traditionally, the whole table is served at the same time. Very small, limited seating, a/c was barely working. Other than that the staff were fine and courteous. Might go back, noodle dishes...
