I just had a doordash driver show up with my order and show me that the bag had leaked onto her car seat because something was wrong with the way the restaurant packed it. When I sat it down to open the bag, we both saw that the containers were so full they were not even sealed. The bag was so saturated it fell apart on my front porch. The driver helped gather it up and said she would rush it back to great wall on gull road to let them know and would wait for the replacement, which was so very kind of her. I called great wall on gull road to let them know the driver was coming in and explained what happened and was told by the gal on the phone that it 'wasn't their problem once the food is paid for and leaves their restaurant'. She said I had to take it up with doordash. While on the phone, I heard the driver enter and speak to the same gal and tell her the containers were overfilled and burst open. I heard her tell the driver that it was not their problem, they would not replace the order. The driver was offended, I was offended listening to how little the gal who told the driver she was the manager didn't care about their error. And I was offended that she said once I paid them, they had no responsibility for poor service. If I could give great wall on gull road a zero rating, I would. Read moreWhile I have waited for my food to be delivered for an hour as opposed to the 45mins that I was quoted by the so called manager at the Gull Rd location I decided to call and ask wht the hold up was. I was told that it would be another 15-20mins to deliver my food. Mind you, I live on Gull road (about a 5min drive from the location). When I asked to speak with a manager I was told I would have to wait & that the 45min timeframe I was quoted had never been said. I then proceeded to advise her "the manager" that I was displeased & all she had to do was be honest about a time frame for my order, that I frequently eat at the restaurant & also have recommended them to others many many times. Her response to that was that she would just cancel my order that I had already paid for via DEBIT. I then advised her RUDE, NON PROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HAVING A** that I would be sure to never eat there again as well as my family & any1 else I can talk out of making the same horrible mistake!
