Sharing my experience at Dairy queen as a warning. Twice now at DQ once this past Sat and the other was awhile back my husband paid for his order at the window and they did not give him back his debit card. 1st time no big deal got it right away. This last time was awful. He didn't get it returned about 530 on a sat night we realized it by 830 that night we called and they said it was placed in there safe something to do with the timer on it so we couldn't get it until Sunday. No big deal I run by Sunday morning expecting to get the card and the kid tells me no actually the safe is broken and they need to hire a lock smith and that this would happen on Monday morning. I left my number and he said he would call. Fast forward a few days no no calls. so I called and nothing. No excuse. I was very kind telling them we need our card and there response was we will venmo you 10$ to get a new debit card so its not a big deal wrong and nope. It is a big deal I want our card and I advised them that 10$ could go towards a lock smith and that I would give them until Saturday which would be SEVEN days which was more than generous on our part for them to figure it out and get our card out of the safe. He promised to call later that day. No calls. I called Saturday before stopping by and thankfully the card was ready. My husband ran in to get his card that they had held hostage for 7 days and was rudely handed his card back as if we had done something wrong and inconvenienced them. No apologies. Nothing. Very poor customer service. We will drive to kearney or north oak to go to DQ from now on. Very disappointing . So just make sure they return the card at the drive through since they have a...
Read moreDo not go to this Dairy Queen! Would give 0 stars if it was an option. All ad ons are at least dounle price of other dairy queens. This will be just one example of my terrible service in my 4 (and last) visit here. So my last visit I was asked what dipping sauce I wanted for my cheese curds and I said ranch. However after being charged during my previous visit for something that is included free at all other dq's I asked if they're there a charge and was told no. So I said I would taje the ranch. The total seemed high so I asked for a receipt. Sure enough they charged me $1 for a tiny cup of ranch. I told them and I was told that's how much they are. I had just 30 seconds confirmed it was included and they straight up told me sorry it's.99 and we can't refund. The poor girl at the register seemed just as confused as me at the manager telling her this. The prices being rediculous here was almost enough for a 1 star, but the customer service put it way over the edge. To be clear this is not a review of Dairy Queen, but just of this horribly managed location. I'm guessing I'm not the only one to feel this way and I'll just get a canned message saying to call the store lol, a little late for that now and we know that is just a way to make it look like you're doing something about it. (If they do this here it shows they don't even care enough to actually read...
Read moreNot overly impressed. We go here often, since it's right around the corner from our house. But there's usually issues with our order. Most of the time the regular food items are ok. Hardly ever get sauce though for the chicken strips, if we order something other than gravy. They NEVER give us our banana splits in a bag. Always have to ask for one. Then get attitude like it's a burden on them. I always ask for the cone to be made and given to me last, & it's almost always one of the first items I get. Blizzard melts and is sloppy by the time I get home, same with the banana splits. (we literally live 3 min away) They are always "out" of something. Last trip it was whipped cream, & cherries. The employees at this store are snobby teenage punks. And the manager is no better. As a grown man, he should be on point with his store and his employees. Neither of which he seems give a damn about. And customer service is not something this DQ does well at all!!! Thinking it's time to try...
