Fat Matt's Vortex — Restaurant in Kansas City

Visiting from out of town, and this place was on our short list of must do’s. Exceeded our expectation! The bartender was SO NICE, the vibe is amazing and quirky, cool and a little spooky, which I love, and was part of the draw to visit. There aren’t many beers to choose from, it’s mostly a cocktail place, but can’t go wrong with a High Life, and I don’t know if it was a special but it was only $3!!! Pool is only .75 a game!!! Mrs. Debbie is amazing she welcomed us in and was by far the sweetest lady you've ever met. My wife and I went in with the intention on being there for a couple ended up there all afternoon. When Sam got there he continued the amazing service we went to 2 other places but ended up back there because they were that amazing. Since I am from out of town, I really wasn't sure what to expect. I went in with high hopes, and I was not disappointed. This is a great hole in the wall bar! Bartenders are amazing, friendly,and fun to chat with! There are a few games, and the drinks are really reasonably priced.
