The restaurant smells amazing as you walk in the door. There are a few tables for inside eating and on a Saturday afternoon, they were busy but not packed. We were able to get a table. There are so many choices on the menu, they also have a breakfast and lunch menu. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the prime rib burger quezadilla. We had a short wait for our food but not long. The pulled pork was massive and came with fries. It had a delicious sauce and loads of melty cheese. It was as good as it looked. The fries tasted like the oil might have been old or over-used. My burger was DRY. It was on a masa type bun. It lacked any sauce and I didn't even finish the quarter piece that I cut it into. The service was amazing and if you are looking for a great pulled pork sandwich, I definitely recommend this place. I will go back and try something else because the other reviews mostly rave about the food.

Stopped in on a Saturday to try tacos for the KCK Taco Trail and omg we were blown away. We tried the Asada and the Al Pastor Tacos. The Pastor was only okay (needed salt) but that Asada might be the best we’ve tried so far! So good with perfect seasoning, great flavor, and excellent steak. We liked that it came with red onions and plenty of cilantro. Both salsas were good, one was a mild green salsa that was amazing and one was a super spicy chili oil. That one was no joke! Super hot but great flavor. This is a counter service restaurant and they didn’t have beer but we did get a big Coke. Will definitely return to try more Asada Tacos!!!

Our office is doing the KCK Taco Trail and all 9 of us that ordered gave it a solid 4 stars! The stand outs were the pastor & asada tacos and the breakfast tacos. Generous portions of meat. The birria was good but needed a little more salt & heat. Chilaquiles were pretty ok - probably best not ordered as carryout - it needs to be eaten right away. Their menu is so big its like the Cheesecake Factory of Mexican restaurants, so it was a little tricky to navigate. But the service was outstanding, the owner was so lovely and helpful and the food was very tasty! Would definitely eat here again! I only wish they had chips & salsa. :)

Excellent food and service. Stopped in for my first time and was greeted immediately being explained what the most popular dishes were before I even asked! They have images posted above their bar of everything they serve so you have a visual if unsure of what something is. This is a VERY small place, even seating for 2 can be tough. There are no tables, only bar top style seating. I went with one of their popular dishes being the Enchiladas Casserole which comes with rice and refried beans. Instead of your typical rolled tortilla, they use round corn tortillas and stack everything straight up, and top it with an egg cooked anyway you like. Alongside every dish they serve their own homemade hot sauce, which may not look appealing, but is great! Some sort of mixture of dried chilies and garlic. Overall great experience, will definitely be back...

Great food and service! Prices are very reasonable, and there are lots of options, including desserts. There is not much seating, and it is all bartop style. Some of the seats move and some do not, so if you have mobility issues you may want to take your food to go, or have it delivered (they work with UberEats and Grubhub). They have breakfast and lunch/dinner foods, and if you're with a picky eater or a little kid, they have pancakes, toast, and eggs (and some chocolate crepes that were really good). They have pictures of all the food on the walls so it's very easy to see exactly what you'll get and the owner is very nice and happy to explain anything to you. Most of their drinks are in bottles or cans, and they also have several hot teas. I've already recommended it to...
