Go Chicken Go — Restaurant in Kansas City

Today I went to this location which until today was my favorite! I ordered two snack packs and $2.00 gizzards and a g sauce. I get to the car to eat mine and realized they forgot my sauce so I take the entire order back in open the boxes to prove they forgot it with my receipt. The lady says I have the wrong order. I replied “ no it’s just missing the sauce!” She insist I hand it over. She digs through the box the other lady says something about a wing order order which isn’t what I ordered . After the First Lady is finished breathing over and man handling the contents of my box she puts the dirty receipt in the box with the gsauce they originally forgot and hands me the box back. I made it to my car thinking how gross that she had bare handed dug through my food and only ate the covered coleslaw. And used my man handled chicken to help someone lure a dog. Then took the other meal to my client. Oh and the chicken wasn’t very fresh. Like it had been sitting there a bit. Why did she need to dig in my box and put the dirty receipt inside? It's a No No on the Go Chicken Go.

I am truly not sure how this place has a 4.4, unless the people who eat here have absolutely never eaten fried chicken anywhere else in their entire lives.

We are from out of town and wanted to try local. Ordered wings and thighs. As soon as I grabbed a thigh, I immediately said the chicken smelled funny. It's definitely not fresh and the texture taste like gas station chicken, except I've had way better chicken from a gas station, so I don't want to disrespect the good ones. Its texture is like chicken that has been kept under a heat lamp too long. The smell and the taste got worse with every bite and even more intense closer to the bone.

The mashed potatoes were so thick and stiff and the "gravy" tasted like old grease and water. No seasoning no flavor no love went into this food.

Ordered a wrap with g-sauce add light mayo, the lady went out of her way to make it a wrap with mayo and a side of g-sauce and charged me for it! The wrap was such a mess because she changed it half way through them making it. This is a level of petty that is just sad. I will find a different location to go to, this one in particular will never touch my money again. If I wanted a mayo wrap with a side of G-Sauce I would have asked for that instead I asked for a wrap with mayo and a little bit of Gsauce. They couldn't even be bothered to fold the wrap, they just threw everything on a tortilla and wrapped it up as is, The insides almost fell out when I went to take my first bite.
