Best ice cream around hands down my favorite privately owned ma n PA ice cream shop. Honestly, it is my favorite ice cream... go for the cinnamon honey or the breakfast ice cream bacon and pancakes with maple...omg so good. But you can get this homemade donut bread thing and put the ice cream inside the donut thing....totally the bomb diggity!!! high hopes gets it from the fresh bakery across the street. I've been to this place twice now. Once last year and we got the cinnamon honey one the kids got some cotton candy something I don't know, but they loved it. Today's my mom's birthday, and she had a hankering for ice cream, so I mentioned high hopes. I remembered it was good but I forgot how good. Like it was worth it cuz i hate driving from liberty during rush hour traffic. But when I mentioned it to my significant other he rushed home from kc ks to take me to meet my mom from buckner just to get a scoop of that cinnamon honey ice cream....I can't wait to go back...this time it won't be that...

We happened to be across the street visiting The Littlest Bake Shop and noticed this colorful little ice cream shop with window service.

We got the Joy of Almonds vegan ice cream. Chocolate, crunchy coconut, and toasted almond slices mixed in. It was good, with a fairly strong chocolate flavor, a creamy texture, no strong overtones from the base, pretty sweet but not crazily so.

The portion was pretty good and the price was fairly reasonable for things these days.

They also have floats available! Plus some shakes and other items. Service was friendly.

If you are strictly vegetarian AKA vegan, they only had one option when we stopped in, but it was clearly marked and good. Not just a boring sorbet like a lot of non-vegan-friendly places might have. Their focus is dairy based ice creams, but it sounds like sometimes they have a few flavors to pick from.

They apparently even had a vegan waffle cone, it was a little on the chewy side, but tasty.

Definitely worth a try if...

Yall this place blew my expectations, soooo good! Their flavors are super unique and it’s located across the street from a beautiful black owned book shop so you know we got some scoops and headed over there after. The workers were very patient and kind, explained some of the flavors to us and were down to let us sample. We wanted the chamoy mango one that’s featured in their website but it’s only a summer flavor, but we’ll definitely be back for it. As for the atmosphere, they have some seating area outside but it’s first come first serve so just prepare to take your ice cream with ya or eat it standing if you go when it’s busy because I think they only had 2 picnic tables. I got the sweet potatoe pie ice cream and my partner got the strawberry birthday cake, and my favorite of the two was the strawberry birthday cake. Highly recommend...

Jesus. Mary. Joseph. Blown. Away. High Hopes doesn't just serve ice cream--they serve magic in a cone. I sampled several flavors (because how could I not?), and finally landed on a trio: S'mores, Cookie Dough, and Local Breakfast. Each one was delicious in its own right, but the S'mores? Game changer. It was like someone roasted a marshmallow over a real campfire, swirled it into rich chocolate, and folded in graham cracker dreams. The subtle smokiness in the scoop? Unreal. It tasted like summer nights and nostalgia. Cookie Dough was classic and packed with chunks (none of that skimpy dough nonsense), and Local Breakfast was a wild, wonderful ride--think maple, buttery vibes, and a cozy, early-morning sweetness. High Hopes, you absolutely nailed it. Thank you for existing in this city. I'm already planning my next trip back.

Fantastic ice cream; the blueberry lemon cheesecake in particular is excellent. But I'm giving one star because earlier today, I went to your store to get a pint of said delicious ice cream. Then about half an hour ago, I got a notification that my transaction total has been updated. One of your employees decided to add a little tip for herself on my card. I'm not going back; I won't shop at a place where you can't guarantee your employees won't steal money from me. Update: The owner is absolutely unhinged. She found the fraudulent charge and refunded it, then started freaking out that I didn't remove my comments about the charge and started sending me these messages, after saying she won't discipline or fire the employee for stealing:
