On 7/10 my husband & I visited this location to dine in and ordered at 6:57pm. When we arrived, it was not busy and we were the only ones in the dining room. We noticed immediately that the drive thru was consistent and the staff seemed focused on drive thru only. After 15 mins, my husband stood up to ask the person who took our order for an update, thinking maybe our ticket was lost or something. The employee became irritated because he was busy walking an order outside & my husband interrupted him. He rolled his eyes and was very short saying, "Itll be a few minutes." 10 minutes later, we wanted to just get our money back because they were rude, we were very hungry and it was late. We approached the counter & we were not greeted and totally ignored. The drive thru employee finished taking a drive thru order, looked right at us trying to get his attention and took another order. We then started trying to get his attention from the counter & he got visibly angry and continued to ignore us. Speaking to the abyss of nobody listening to us, we asked for a refund and a lady expediting food appears and says, "OH IS THIS WHAT YOURE WAITING FOR? The first thing we see on the trey is a half-filled large cup of cold fries. It was literally half full. If the fries had been hot, i would have taken the loss but I waited 30 minutes, I want hot fries and ALL of the fries I paid for! At this point their behavior had been totally unacceptable and we have been treated as an inconvenience. I asked if we can we just have our money back. The lady said she would get a manager. The manager then refused to come to the counter & the entire store ignored us from this point until we left. The manager popped her head over the side of the chicken warmer, rolled her eyes and we never saw her again. New customers walked in to place orders at the counter and they were ignored as well. They were never greeted and did not have their orders taken so they ALL ended up WALKING OUT! When I followed up with the employee at the drive thru serving THOSE customers about when the manager was coming, he said, "Cant you see I'm busy with the drive thru? SHES TOO BUSY." We waited and waited and nobody came. All they were concerned about was that drive thru. We said SEVERAL times, if you're not going to refund us, can we at LEAST have a FULL cup of HOT fries? They continued to ignore us. We left the ALL of the food on the counter and we won't ever be back. I'll be sure to tell anyone who will listen about this interaction.    Read moreThis is not only the worst experience I have had at a fast food restaurant but in any public setting I have ever been in. I tried to contact the store by phone in order to get a very simple question answered. I did call about 7 times and it ended up not being picked up.
We went ahead and drove up the restaurant to see about getting the question answered. The inside of the store was locked and closed so we proceeded to the drive through. After waiting about 10 minutes for the car in front of us to place an order we were asked to wait a couple minutes prior to getting assistance. When a lady did ask for our order I asked about chicken only specials they might have running. Another lady answered the question and said it didnât start until 8pm.
I mentioned that the hours for the store were listed to close at 8pm. She said that was wrong and they have been trying to get that fixed. I did politely let her know that we took the time to drive up because I believe they might be having an issue with their phone system because I had attempted to call multiple times but it wasnât picked up. I was told they didnât have time to pick up the phone. I let them know that it would have helped in this instance because we wouldnât have needed to waste time driving up there and wait to find out they donât have their specials listed or the times that they start.
As I was leaving, driving past the drive through window, a lady (I would assume whoever was âput in chargeâ) leaned out the window and flipped me off. Saying if I worked in fast food I would understand they didnât have time to pick up the phone. I let her know I have worked in fast food and made the decision each day to do the right thing and answer the phone when it is ringing. I was able to multi task and that it wasnât difficult because the phone calls are always fast and easy and could sometimes avoid issues or confusion like we had.
I just canât believe that this lady is employed at a YUM branded store and displaying that level of customer service. I have worked for the brand for quite some time and the stores I was a part of prided ourselves in providing customer service. This lady flipped me off with another car at her window and my daughter was in the car with me. I will be filing a formal complaint with the company and will not ever be at this place of business again. I will have to think twice about visiting any YUM brand because this was very disrespectful.    Read moreMy daughter and I had an awful experience at KFC in Liberty, MO. We made an order through the drive-thru. The man who took our order had problems understanding our simple requests. We asked for potato wedges and he said they were out. My daughter asked how long it would take to make an order. He said 5 minutes. So, we finished making our order and he didnât read back our order and asked us to pull forward. The young woman at the window appeared frazzled. Mind you there was no one but us in the drive-thru or in the lobby.
The woman gave us 2 of the 3 drinks we ordered. We asked for our last drink. She then said you ordered a chicken bowl or whatever itâs called. My daughter said no we had two big boxes, a Cheeto sandwich and 4 cinnabon biscuits. She had to ask the cook, and the guy who submitted our order, what we had ordered. She said move forward to wait for the potato wedges. We did and waited about 20 minutes or so for a 5 minute cook of the potato wedges.
The woman told us at the window, with an aggravated tone, that they were the only two working that shift. It was the shift before closing. We were there about 8 or so.
The man finally brought out our order. We had no receipt. We had a bag of food. On top of the boxes was a giant âwadâ of napkins. Almost like they had been taken out of the trash and put in our bag. Iâd never seen anything like it. The Cheeto chicken sandwich was an incredibly nasty looking product. The bun was hard. The chicken was like it had been sitting on the line for awhile. On the bun was an orange spot of something. The Cheetos were thrown inside the box and not on the sandwich.
We had to ask for our cinnabon biscuits because they werenât in the bag.
By this time I was livid. My daughter wouldnât let me take the bag of âcrapâ back in the restaurant and confront the employees. We get the food home and the side orders were not right. We had two orders of mashed potatoes, one order of mac & cheese and potato wedges. We were supposed to have 2 orders of mac & cheese, one mashed potatoes and one potato wedges. We asked for sauces for the chicken strips and butter and honey...none of which was in the bag.
This was a horrible experience. My daughter manages a restaurant and knows good customer service. She was so upset she just wanted to leave the restaurant without making the order right.
