Full honesty, I worked there for two years, back when I was 17. This was 10 years ago. I can tell you this, back when I worked there it was a very clean McDonalds compared to other food places I worked at, I never had any issue eating any of the food there. They also treated the employees ok, compared to other food service jobs I have worked at. They didn't cheat the customers, and they followed employment law more than most other fast food places (I never noticed anything missing from my check, they responded to sexual harassment complaints properly, as far as I was ever aware there wasn't any sleep with a boss to get a promotion/keep your job going on like I had heard happened at other mcdonalds, and I got a employee meal of 3 dollars for the morning, 5 dollars during lunch with free soda all day) I will say this rubbed me a bit wrong then, but back when I worked there, they asked the employees to write 5 star reviews whenever our reviews dropped, a quick check of the recent five star reviews appears to confirm this. The thing is, as far as mcdonalds go this is a five star, decent mcdonalds, but they should have asked employees to write honest reviews, instead of our boss watching over their shoulder as they typed up a five star review. Honestly though, that's a fairly minor complaint compared to horror stories that fast food employees tell each other in regards to food safety and employee rights. I'm still comfortable going there to eat, which says a lot considering other places I have worked in I still...
Read moreI go to this particular McDonald's for breakfast burrito and soda most mornings, as it is conveniently located near my home. I have put in a complaint, specifically about my safety walking into the restaurant at about 8 AM and the parking lot is particularly dangerous, due to people lined up on 2 lanes for the drive-up window. There are only 2 cross walks designated for crossing safely and you have no choice to walk between cars/vehicles waiting to move forward for the drive up service. Many people are texting or on the phone, not paying attention that they are in a cross walk, posing a particular danger that they might let off the brake and run over someone crossing in the cross walk. I have contacted corporate about this situation and talked to the manager at this particular McDonald's. He admits that it is very crowded at this time, and suggested I cross in the cross walk designated area. I have done so. I still feel it is unsafe, and there could be "PEDESTRIAN WALK WAY" signs posted, also the cross walks could be painted. I will take action, if I am hurt or my family is hurt. I am cautious, but McDonald's has a responsibility to remedy this situation, before someone gets hurt. ...
Read moreIf I could go less than one star I would! Just went through their drive-through got 310 piece chicken McNuggets meals for me and my family. Drove four minutes home. And the nuggets were barely warm. Called to let the manager know about it. And he actually wanted me to leave my home go back up there with nuggets to replace them. Or bring with me next time I come in and he will replace them. He said that it wasn’t that he didn’t believe me. But he needed them for training purposes. This isn’t an area where scams happen either. Maybe this manager came from a store that had a lot of them. In this area when a restaurant messes up on an order or it’s not to a customer satisfaction. You’re receipt suffices in getting it replaced. This isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with this McDonald’s. But the first time where everything was not good. So that is why I called. $30 is NOTvery well spent!! THANK GOOODNESS it was only three of us. If my daughters were here. It would have been the usual 50! I will drive the extra five minutes to McDonald’s at 152. Thanks for a horrible experience and...
