Steam Bowl Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Kansas City

I've certainly had worse. I ordered delivery tonight because it was the closest chinese place to my hotel. It arrived about 10 minutes earlier than expected, which was a plus. I ordered General Tso's Chicken with steamed rice and crab rangoons. The rice was normal, and the crab rangoons were okay. You can tell that they at least try and put effort into them, because there is some seasoning visible in their cream cheese. The entree was not good at all. The sauce tasted like a heavier bbq sauce than I like, not a typical General Tso sauce. The chicken chunks were smaller than this dish usually has, which I didn't mind. It was a bit disappointing that they didn't add broccoli to it like a lot of other restaurants do. It was just the sauce and chicken. Next time I am in town I will probably not order from this restaurant, but I did find this meal hot and filling at the end...

The food is very good, but the service sucks. You can hear the woks clanging around in the back after you order and it comes out hot and fresh. It's really good food. There is a white girl who works there that has an earpiece in ALL the time and is always talking on the phone. You're trying to order and she's having another conversation and you're wondering if she is talking to you or not. She can also be really rude and dismissive. She really seems like she wants to be elsewhere. There is an older Chinese woman who also takes orders and she can be very rude too. I hate going there, but it's so close and the food is cheap as hell at lunch time. I don't know how they stay in business. They don't deliver anymore. I really wish they'd hire someone with more personality and charm to work...

Called they where rude, took two and a half hours to get my food, my food was soggy my wifes food was not cooked all the way, tried to eat it and it made me sick. Do not eat here

As of the day after. Was sick with problems Called talked to Amanda I think was her name Give her a five star as a employee but still don't recommend this place. Unless u need a good enima. We tried this other restaurant the lucky dragon two days later after our piss poor experience with this joke of a place. Our food was a ten star here. And was at our door in under 25 min not 2.- 2nd half hours and it was cooked and hot. And the order taker was not rude.
