Had the Papa's rellenas, croquet ham and chicken, a Cubano sandwich, and a mamey shake, my favorite was the Papa's rellenas. 5 star. Croquet is what made me wanna try this place but I thought they were kinda nasty and edible but had a weird taste looked like mozzarella sticks, and had a pasty meat filling 2 stars. Cubano bread was toasted great, ingredients were good, except for the meat, which I didn't care for but I'm not a big fan of pork besides bacon. Solid 4-star for me. The fries that came with 3 stars are just ok. Mamey shake came with ice in it, so ask for no ice, the waitress told me it was made with milk vs the juice was made with water. It's very thin, not a thick shake. Liked the taste and just wanted to try Mamey. 4 stars. Pricing is not bad I paid $32.00 for everything. 4.5 stars. The server was nice, nice interior, very clean. 4.8 stars. The parking lot is so small and impossible to park. 2 stars. I'd eat here again and order one of the plates 1-6 as the server recommended with Papa's rellenas.
#2 Had the #1 plate with empanadas, empanadas 4.7 star delicious. Still prefer Papa's rellenas, the plate and the shredded beef was a bit too salty for me, but I enjoyed the cultural food having fried plantain, rice, and the black beans kind of like soup. 4.7 star.
#3 Had the #3 chicken fricassee, not sure if that's an accurate name, because when I google that it says it's a French stew - the meat I would say is stewed in some sauce, but idk. It's decent, only 1 piece of chicken. I enjoyed it honestly, the plantain, rice and instead of the soupy black beans you get potatoes. I prefer the soupy black beans, maybe it doesn't make sense as much with this dish but idk. I'd give it 4.6 star
#4 Had #6 beef hash with white rice and sweet fried plantains 4.8 stars enjoyed this meat and the sweet fried plantain to contrast their other just fried plantain. My favorite plate so far
#5 Had the #2 beef steak, meat was pretty good, it's not like a fancy steak, but it was tender and good, came with congris rice, cassava with sauce, and salad - 4.75 stars my second favorite plate here so far. The congris rice makes the meal. Very flavorful. First time trying cooked cassava, much like potato kind of thing. I also got avocado with it, and a meatless tamale, I'd rate the tamale 4.7 stars pretty good. All just...

I ordered the El Típico loaded with some savory shredded pork marinated onion laid accross a bed of rice and black bean and sides of yucca and a basic small salad.
Very tasty food and plenty of it for the price. Service was fast and friendly. Food was very tasty.
Would love to come back and try their sandwich and other appetizers.
**Update 12/18
I came back to try the Cuban sandwich and this plce never disappoint.
The pork in that sandwich was so flavor and tender. All of thr condiments had a perfect blend without overpowering each other so you would never taste too much pickle or mayo and etc.
The fries wasnt loaded with salt like I see with other restaurants which was a relief.
I really like this place because it seems that they cook to order here
**Update 09/08/24
I'm here again for breakfast.
This place doesn't miss!
I had the cafe con leche and the papa rellenas.
If you haven't had Cuban coffee, this is some of the best in the game!
I lived in Colombia and Ecuador for a short time and the coffee reminds me a lot from those regions. The coffee is a good bold flavor and mellowed out with the milk. I wished they made cappuccinos there. I'll choose Cuban coffee over Starbucks any day hands down.
The papa rellenas were delightful, they are mashed potatoes stuffed with season ground meat deep fried in a breaded ball.
It was light, crispy and not oily. They give you the red sauce by default but you gotta try it with the green sauce. Trust me on this one.
Please don't sleep on La Cubana because I just left Florida and had Cuban food there and this place has muy rico food here too.
They don't miss!
That girl at the cash register...

I wandered into this little Cuban gem on a whim and left a changed person—spiritually, emotionally, and gastronomically. First off, the food? Sublime. I ordered the #1 because I enjoy living on the edge, and let me tell you… it didn’t just blow my socks off. It launched them into orbit. NASA called—they want them back.
Every bite was like a salsa dance on my taste buds, led by a porky partner who knows all the moves. I made noises I thought were only reserved for award-winning barbeque or emotional breakthroughs in therapy.
The staff? So friendly I started wondering if I was secretly related to them. I half expected someone to ask if I needed a place to stay for the holidays.
And the bathrooms—look, I don’t usually talk about restrooms in my food reviews, but these deserve a standing ovation. Spotless. I’ve been to weddings with less attention to detail.
In conclusion: Go here. Go now. Go hungry. Bring a friend, or don’t—more food for you. Either way, you’re in for a Cuban flavor explosion wrapped in warm hospitality and served with a side of, “Why didn’t I find this...
