Texas Toms — Restaurant in Kansas City

I’m mad I have to put one star to post. Cuz I wouldn’t give them a star PERIOD!! DON’T EVER GO THERE!! The worst customer service EVER!! A lady covered from head to toe in black wrap was mean and rude. Food was burnt and she wouldn’t correct my order. I asked for a seafood basket that comes with catfish filets and she gave me two burnt fish filets like they serve at McDonalds. She wouldn’t give me tarter sauce and charged me for them. Don’t tarter sauce come with fish?? She said the food wasn’t burnt, said that just how they cook it. She told me I would have to pay for another meal and she said I should have read the menu. I told her I asked her to make sure it was the catfish filets and she said yes. But it wasn’t. I told her that she knows God don’t like ugly and she said so! Wow!! I told her I wanted corporate and she told me just go to the website. I told her I’m giving u the worst review and she should b happy anyone buy from her. And I would ever buy from her again!! So I will make the extra trip and go back to the one on Linwood. So TO EVERYONE DON’T GO THERE!! Times r too hard to waste money with horrible businesses with horrible service and food. Burnt and taste Burnt. Cooking food in dirty old oil😡😡😡 I love Texas Tom’s, just not the independence...

I ordered a #1 (Double cheeseburger, fries, drink), plain with. Dr Pepper to drink. After driving home and sitting down to eat there was mustard,  and everything else (but we only care about the mustard because everything else can just be thrown away) on the sandwich. I hadn't really eaten all day so I decided to make the trip back to Texas Tom's to have my order replaced. After waiting in line for 30 minutes I arrived at the window where I was rudely met by a gentleman telling me to just give him back the burger and keep the sack. Then, I believe reasonably asked for my fries to be redone as well since they was now cold. He refused, stating that there was nothing wrong with the fries and there is no reason he'd replace them with fresh. I then told him I just wanted my money back at that point and did not need the food, which he also refused at first. He finally refunded my money as he told me that it was a restaurant for respectable people (as a hooker is at the window) and to never come back. When you work with the public you need to have good customer service skills and the young girl that works the window does not have those as she wanted to argue with what we ordered and what she rang up you can tell that she doesn't want to be there you know if your child doesn't want to work at your business don't make her but she needs to be thankful that you're in this country and you're able to have a business and you're able to be successful and seems to be thankful for what she has or she needs to go back to her country she messed up on my order and I didn't realize it until I got home and drove all the way back and then she want to argue about it I tried to call on the phone but this place doesn't have a business line they have a cell phone for a phone number something...
