I attended this church Thursday with my boyfriend to see CeCe Winans. The church was packed and the tickets were sold out. The sanctuary is large and it was a great concert but extremely hot. With being first come first serve and knowing way in advance the date why was it so hot? My seats were in the balcony because it was first come first serve. We waited in a line wrapped around the church when the tickets said doors open at 6pm. They didn't open at 6. It was extremely hot outside and it never cooled down in the balcony. My face was dripping the whole two hours. My boyfriend has a migraine disorder, got a migraine from it and still has it.
Also, l messaged ahead of time by 5 days if there were accommodations for people who couldn't stand. I never got a response. We asked if there was an elevator and were told no at the church. The concert was fabulous but the venue and experience at the church was not good. Please accommodate those of us that have disabilities. Thank you. Read moreLast night I attended the wonderful CeCe Winans concert with a packed house, sold out seats. But one thing I would like to know from the Host Church? Why was it so, so, hot in there? My goodness, you knew far in advance you were going to host this concert, and the concert guess should have been accomodated, my daughter ask two of the staff members for water after waiting in line in the extreme heat with one pregnant daughter and they said we don't accomodate that.
And so with all that being said, I think they could have done a much better job accomodating fans that paid for their tickets.
