Wingstop

This is the worst WingStop location in the Kansas City area when it comes to service. The staff is rude and lazy. The dining area is always closed by 10:30 p.m. with chairs stacked on top of the tables, even though the restaurant is open until midnight.

My family and I recently visited this location for dinner. We ordered 60 wings + fries. Although we were eating in, our food was served to us in a paper bag, and one of our fry trays were even placed sideways adjacent to wings in the bag. The wings were also stuffed 20 per To-Go box. When I mentioned this, the female employee behind the counter was short and rude. The only reason I can fathom our food being served this way, was to cut back on dirty trays, or either to deter us from eating in. The same female employee that was rude earlier in the evening, chose to begin pulling our chairs from behind us to stack once my family was done eating. She did so even though we were still standing directly around our table and clearly still visiting with one another!

I have also received poor customer service at this location when picking up food for carryout. Another female employee, that I believe to be a manager at this location, seemingly had a bad attitude with both her crew and customers. Being an assistant GM myself in the restaurant industry, I would feel safe assuming that this is one of the key reasons this location is headed downhill. Management is very important and plays a crucial role in the culture that's instilled in any business, but especially in the restaurant business!

I have even had my food placed aside on another occasion for an employee to take home because I was ten minutes late arriving to the restaurant. The doors were locked when I arrived for pickup, even though it was about 11:15 p.m. My food had to be completely remade, which was very time consuming, and a huge inconvenience for me on this particular night. The same female employee I believe to be a manager at this location was on shift this night as well.

The service my family and I received on our last visit is the straw that has broken the camel's back. This is the last time we will be returning to this WingStop location. I will not be recommending this location to any other family members or friends.
