First time visiting this place. They open at 9, I went in at about 915/920 ish. Half the shelves were empty, which was disappointing. However, by the time I finished getting rung up, it was more stocked. There was an issue with the promotion, but they were able to resolve it. Because of the time it took to resolve, I was able to go back and look at other pastries. If you open at 9, you should be set by 9. Unless this place is super popular where they are wiped out in 20 mins, there's no reason you should be just stocking after opening. If it wasn't for the hiccup, I wouldn't have had much to choose from. The staff was really nice! It's rare to find customer service like that now n days.
I saw people complaining about prices in reviews. I guess it depends on perspective. I've never had Chinese pastries, so for me these are cheap. Especially compared to Starbucks and other coffee shops that charge 5 bucks for mediocre pastries. It's baked in store so it's all soft and fluffy. Everything I saw was around 3ish or less (most stuff was 2) The blueberry puff fell short for me. However the cheese puff was amazing! The coffee I tried (brown sugar oatmilk latte) was ok. It reminds me of boboa. I understand now it's an Asian bakery, so that makes sense, I was just caught off guard because I was expecting a coffee flavor. I like boboa so it wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I was expecting so I was kind of disappointed (not their fault) I will definitely return! Maybe not for coffee, but definitely for pastries! It looks really nice, so these would also make good cheap treats/gifts for coworkers or staff (like doc office,...
Read moreThis place needs improvements on customer service. I came only to order sea salt coffee so I waited in the Cake and Drinks only line. Not one cashier looked up to see if there was anyone at the Cake and Drink line to take my order. There were 2 at the time and 3rd cashier came to help out and I thought she was going to call for the next guest at the drink line. But I was wrong. All they said was “I can help the next guest in line” and looked at the pastry line. 6 customers have been helped while I was still waiting in line. I even checked to see which person I would be standing behind if I decided to wait at the pastry line and I would have been called next from pastry line over the drink line. I didn’t want to be rude but by that time I had to speak up. Cashier apologized but something should be done to improve customer service or get rid of the Cake and Drink line if you are not going to service anyone waiting there. After all and done I thought I was going to enjoy my sea salt coffee but it was not that strong. It tasted watery. The sea salt coffee at 85 degree bakery location next to Ranch 99...
Read moreThis place is so good that it deserves all the stars Google can support! Every baked goodness is fresh and warm with insurance of quality! It is almost always packed and you’ll hardly ever get a parking spot because that’s how amazing everything that they serve is! If you’re a new comer and are skeptical then all you need is to start with their Brioche because it’ll make you come back and try other items! I personally love their Brioche, whole wheat mushroom, mango custard bun (which is very soft to the bite), potato croquette and caramel pudding! They made a mark on the map for me with the inclusion of Mango Crème Brûlée cake which was a stroke of genius by this bakery to make them stand out! In my opinion Mango Crème Brûlée cake and Black Forest cake are THE BEST for any occasion! Cakes, individual desserts or any sweet treats aren’t deadly sweet like the other bakeries make them! Their Vietnamese coffee with boba had a nice balance of bittersweet flavors and will definitely be my go to whenever I’m here...
