Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Katy

The pizza 🍕 here was great and tasted fresh and hot 🔥 made to order just like you want it. Godfather's was a staple during many childhoods but then all of a sudden went obselete for a while, like decades, closing and shutting the doors of many locations and is now within the last few years making a big comeback and its return. So it was nice to see 👀 an actual location still up and running and thriving, still offering that same Godfather's original taste of the "pizza you can't refuse!" The associated staff was nice and friendly. The staff team member Ian who assisted us was awesome and was very personable, welcoming, respectful, and made sure we enjoyed our Godfathers experience. Management came over to the table to thank us for coming, to welcome us, and Joe conversed with us during our dining experience. The dining area was limited and didn't offer much seating, but despite that, the atmosphere was nice, and the vibe was cool. We need more Godfathers locations across Houston so they are not so scattered and scarce. This is one of only a few locations across the entire Houston region and its surrounding areas. Godfathers pizza should be located on every side of town and more accessible and easy to get to far more than some of these other little pizza 🍕 places that we will not name here. We will return to this location in the future because of this God experience. One suggestion would be to offer more deals, discounts, promotions, specials, and coupons for customers such as families, teens, youth, seniors, or even customers dining alone can get immediate savings and lowered pricing for the basic menu selections they choose to assist them with budgeting in today's...

Okay, we've been a fan of godfathers for many many years. I know this location is in its infancy, but... They've got some growing pains ahead of them. We called to order for carry out and asked about any current specials and the person that answered the phone wasn't aware of anything other than referring us to online specials. We indicated that we were driving and we're not able to even consider looking at an online special. Seem to be a little trouble some for the person to assist us, but understand that they could have been busy. We finally placed an order arrived about 20 minutes later and paid for the order and then told us it was going to be another 15 or so minutes. There wasn't even another pizza in the oven that we could see from standing in their lobby looking directly into the pizza conveyor oven. We received our order about 15 minutes later, and went home with the pizza. The flavor and sauce were just as we remember it. But growing up in the Italian food and pizza business, we recognized right off that the dough had been sitting around longer than it should have and so the crust didn't have that familiar godfather's soft yet crispy texture. It was just very chewy. I hope they can get things squared around because it would really be nice to have them, as we remember them, here in the Katy...

So, I grew up with Godfathers pizza, but you can hardly find one anymore. There are two in Houston, and I decided to travel to the one located on 99 Grand Parkway and I-10. Let me just say from the pizza master in the back to the person who greeted me. Everything was 5 star. Then I got the product. Amazing, perfectly cooked, toppings perfect as well. The taste was exactly the same as I remember so fondly as a younger man. If you like Godfathers pizza, go here and get the perfect memory restored to life. It's a small place, but I understand keeping the overhead low. As long as you got 5-star service and a perfectly made pizza, you got awesome!!! For the employees, well done! For the owner, keep this up and thank you.

Tip - The taco pizza is one of my all-time favorites, and it's perfect here. If you are not eating it there or soon after, get it without lettuce and add your own later. I drove 30 mins with it, and it was still awesome, but any longer, and it may wilt too much. It also makes it easy and tasty to reheat, then add lettuce and some creme! They even give you loads of delicious...
