Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Katy

My husband and I visited this store last night after a long drive from Dallas. We entered the store at approximately 8:40 pm. The workers were busy cleaning and seemed to be disinterested in being at work. There was only one guy that seemed to be helpful who actually made my cold sub. My husband wanted the chicken bacon ranch sub and was unable to order it because a young lady with glasses was busy cleaning the grill and was having conversation with the guy that made my sub about not using the grill because it was getting clean. When I asked what time did they close, the young man told me 9pm.. so basically the grill is closed down before the store closes. I ordered and paid for my sandwich and immediately had buyers remorse. My husband drove to Taco Cabana next door to pick up food. Terrible customer service, my cold sub was blah and shutting down the grill before closing… will never visit this...

Their soft grand opening was great. I am a Jersey Mike's fan I can typically go there 4 times a week. I was absolutely excited for this 1 as I dont live far. After 3 failed sandwich I'll gladly take that drive to Cypress to have my food prepared the way I desire and pay for. I was very specific on no soggy bread and what I get a sandwich loaded with juices = soggy bread. Had to trash the sandwich & return to work hungry. No one restaurant in Elyson has maintained good quality; good customer service but that's it. So much for excitement of having...

Disgustingly Disappointed..... Was like eating Sand......Very Nasty 🤢 Never Again! Had nothing to eat all day and it's "My Last visit to any Jersey Mike's"-------- Sorry!! I'll never have Jersey Mike's again. This is final visit time to any Jersey Mike's .. The Bread was nasty with texture or "Sand" will stay forever. It was Yellow granulated something on the bottom of bread. I tried removing top bun but the Sand is overwhelming. My dog had what was salvageable. Literally I had surgery week ago and able to eat soft .. I will post...
