Amigos/Kings Classic — Restaurant in Kearney

Imagine ordering from their new app to pickup and eat there then being told "no you cant use our lobby use the drive thru" just rude way to treat paying customers as if i was an imposition because i spent my money thru your app, ok message received partial comment has been removed pending full resolution as detailed below

Update After leaving this review and being contacted by amigos north management/owner representative i received an apology for the misunderstanding and an offer of coupons/gift card as further apology i offered to amend my review with this information and to acknowledge that i consider the issue resolved pending receiving said coupons/gift card and retract my comments hoping for a closure of the north location.

Final update After receiving the promised coupons i consider the matter resolved and concluded with an added un related recommendation to try their mexican pizza I've tried it and it was amazing! Well worth the reasonable price! I've also amended my 1 star service rating to 3 stars as this management response was quite unexpected and was heartfelt not just patronizing other businesses could learn...

Worst fears confirmed. I used to be a weekly regular with my family when their lobby was open and they had a salsa bar, I haven’t had it in forever until tonight I thought I would just go get a soft taco and a side of their famous ranch. Lobby is somehow STILL closed, at this point I think we know it isn’t the pandemic, or the labor shortage, as plenty of fast food lobby’s are open, with sauce bar options. Even worse 1 taco took 20 minutes to get, prices are more expensive, again, they charged for ranch, which somehow the side got smaller, and what is this ranch?!? It was NOT then ranch they are known for, I don’t know what this stuff was. Needless to say I will continue to stay away until they get some things addressed, please get it together and bring back the Amigos everyone loves,...

First off before I review the food, I need to give a shout out to the staff working that night! When it came time to leave I literally could not find my car keys! I had them when we arrived but couldn't find them getting ready to leave. The staff became aware of my problem and tried to help me find my keys. Long story short, I had placed them somewhere different and that's why I was having trouble. I appreciated the concern and looking they did for me! So a 1,000 percent kudos to the staff. The food was hot and tasty. My nephew enjoyed his big build your own burrito and the homemade ranch. I enjoyed the limited time southwest chicken salad wrap. It was hot, lettuce crispy as well as the other crispy elements of the wrap, it was also slightly spicy but not extremely so. Really tasty...
