Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Kearney

So, I love daylight donuts other places. I love their sausage rolls. When I came here they gave me a menu saying the sausage rolls were $3.50, but they said they were actually $4.75 and the menus were old. That’s pretty unprofessional but ok. Then, I ordered 5 sausage rolls for my family. I was actually charged $4.93 per roll, a yet different price from what they told me and their menu advertised price. On top of this they told me in the future I wasn’t allowed to order more than 2 sausage rolls unless I call ahead. I don’t think there will be another visit in the future. I really wanted to like Daylight Donuts, as it is a Kearney institution, but it has very irregular hours, and inconsistent offerings.

Unless you are there at opening, there will be very little left within a few hours, which is good for them, and speaks to their quality, but makes it hard for them to attract new customers. I've been in twice to find their donut case essentially empty.

Also, their location has terrible parking options, and is hard to get to.

Beat doughnuts i have ever had anywhere in my life!

2 stars is because they need to hire more staff, and improve the attitude/memories of the existing staff. There was only a few people in the lobby, and yet the car in front of me waits 12 minutes for their doughnuts. Expecting a huge box or 2 for the wait, but only a small bag was given to them instead. Should not have to wait this long, and repeat the order the times for only ordering 4 doughnuts when it's not busy at all. Please hire more staff and maybe have a raise for your existing so they...
